  • Patent number: 11855547
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for feeding electrical power into an electrical supply grid. The method includes rectifying a first AC voltage of an electrical power, produced by a generator, into a first DC voltage and increasing the first DC voltage to a second DC voltage such that the second DC voltage has a step-up ratio in relation to the first DC voltage. Alternatively, the method includes rectifying the first AC voltage into the second DC voltage without producing the first DC voltage. The method includes inverting the second DC voltage into a second AC voltage for feeding electrical power into the electrical supply grid depending on an feed setpoint value and setting the second DC voltage depending on the feed setpoint value and actual value. The second DC voltage is increased depending on an increase in the feed setpoint voltage or actual value.

  • Patent number: 11552498
Abstract: A method for controlling an electrical consumer is provided. The electrical consumer is coupled to an electricity supply grid using a frequency converter. The electricity supply grid has a line voltage and is characterized by a nominal line voltage. The electricity supply grid is monitored for a grid fault in which the line voltage deviates from the nominal line voltage by at least a first differential voltage. When the grid fault occurs, the electrical consumer remains coupled to the electricity supply grid, and a power consumption of the electrical consumer is changed on the basis of the deviation of the line voltage from the nominal line voltage.

  • Patent number: 11411405
Abstract: Provided is a method of feeding electric power at a grid connection point into an electric power grid having a grid voltage using a converter-controlled feeder, in particular using a wind energy system and/or of a storage unit. The method includes feeding the electric power into the electric power grid in a normal operating mode when no grid fault or grid malfunction has been detected in the electric power grid, and switching to a fault mode when a grid fault or grid malfunction has been detected, in which the grid voltage is increased or decreased. In the normal operating mode an active current is fed in in order to feed active electric power into the grid and if the need arises a reactive electric power is additionally fed into the grid by a reactive current. The combination of the active and reactive currents results in an apparent current.

  • Patent number: 11355933
Abstract: Provided is a method for feeding electrical power into an electrical supply network at a network connection point by means of a converter-controlled infeed apparatus, in particular by means of a wind power system. The electrical supply network has a network voltage having a network frequency and a network phase angle rotating with the network frequency and is characterized by a rated network frequency. The infeed is effected by means of a converter operating in a current-impressing manner. An infeed current is generated by the converter with an infeed phase angle rotating with the network frequency for the purpose of controlling the infeed phase angle. A guide angle rotating with the network frequency is predefined. The guide angle has a predefinable lead angle with respect to the network phase angle such that the guide angle lags the network phase angle by the lead angle.

  • Publication number: 20220145855
Abstract: Provided is a method for operating a wind turbine having a generator and a rotor with rotor blades. The method includes generating electrical power from wind using the generator, using a first part of the generated power as an auxiliary component for supplying auxiliary devices of the turbine used for operating the turbine, where the auxiliary component varies up to a limit. The method includes feeding a second part of the generated electrical power into a grid as a feed-in component, checking the grid for a grid fault that does not allow feeding power into the grid and continuing the operation of the turbine when the fault is detected. The generation of power from wind is reduced to a cut-back power that corresponds to the limit the auxiliary component for operating the auxiliary devices is used from the cut-back power and remaining residual power of the cut-back power is consumed.
