  • Publication number: 20220275312
Abstract: A formulation having at least one of a product stabilization solvent, a sequestrant or chelating agent, and an alkalinity agent capable of use in a cleaning operation at a reduced temperature. Optionally, the formulation may additionally comprise any one or more of a degreaser emulsifier solvent, a surfactant, a hydrotrope, a stabilizer, a biocide, and a buffer. An additive formulation of the invention, as defined herein, comprises these stated types of compounds and is combined with an alkalinity agent at the time of the formulations use in a reduced temperature dairy equipment cleaning operation. A full formulation of the invention, as defined herein, additionally comprises an alkalinity agent in addition to the other named compounds. In many cases, the full formulations are used in a reduced temperature dairy equipment cleaning operation without being combined with an additional alkalinity agent.

  • Publication number: 20210354175
Abstract: Disclosed therein are the methods of cleaning an automated recirculation system or equipment and using the waste effluent produced therefrom for use without the need to reduce the conductivity of such waste effluent prior to use. The method comprises cleaning the automated recirculation system or equipment with a cleaning solution having a conductivity of up to 8 mS/cm at 25° C., and generating a waste effluent. The waste effluent may be used as irrigation water without reducing conductivity of the waste effluent prior to irrigation use. Suitable automated recirculation systems or equipment may be those used in the processing operation of a processed food, dairy, brewing, or beverage. The automated recirculation system may be a clean-in-place (CIP) system.

  • Publication number: 20200033265
Abstract: Analyzers, methods and systems for providing a digital fingerprint or signature for assessing process information and improving process operations using such information. In particular, such analyzers, methods and systems use a unique analysis procedure for identifying, for example, one or more constituents of an intermediate and/or a product-based process stream and providing process operating parameters specific to such one or more constituents. The analyzers, methods and systems may additionally provide dilutions or concentrations of such constituents to improve the understanding of the process operation and how such process operation should be adjusted in response.
