  • Publication number: 20130216385
Abstract: A bearing having grease lubrication includes a first ring and a second ring. A plurality of screw holes axially extend through the first ring. A first axial end of the first ring is affixed to a housing by a plurality of screws extending from the housing into the respective screw holes. A first bore is defined in the first ring adjacent to a second axial end of the first ring. • Publication number: 20040214762
Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for the modulation of the enzymatic activity of prolyl endopeptidase in various human tissues and their biological effect on intracellular inositol (1,4,5) triphosphate concentration. The present invention also discloses the potentiation of endogenous neurological and intracellular signaling cascades by inhibition of prolyl endopeptidase activity. This invention further discloses the amplification of substance P mediated stimulation of IP3 concentration by inhibition of proline endopeptidase activity. The effect of reduced PEP activity on second messenger concentration indicates a novel intracellular function of this peptidase, which has an important impact on cognitive enhancements due to PEP inhibition.

  • Patent number: 6085882
Abstract: A friction clutch wherein the clutch spring is shiftable axially toward the pressure plate during disengagement of the clutch to compensate for wear at least upon the friction linings of the clutch disc. Disengagement of the clutch is facilitated by several springs which act upon the clutch spring and upon the pressure plate and render it possible to disengage the clutch in response to the application of a relatively small force to the tips of the radially inwardly extending prongs of the clutch spring. Moreover, the magnitude of the disengaging force remains at least substantially constant during the entire useful life of the clutch.
