  • Publication number: 20100023720
Abstract: The present invention refers to a method and apparatus, in which changes to relevant data are made easily recognizable. The data is stored in the same sector of a flash memory as a program which is used for the start-up or operation of a device. Due to the characteristics of flash memory the complete sector including the program is deleted when deleting the relevant data, by which the device is no longer operable and a malfunction and damage can be avoided. Furthermore, a bitwise inverted form of the data is stored in the flash memory, and it is inspected whether the original and the inverted form of the data coincide. A change to the data, which is not recognizable by the inspection, requires the deletion of the sector, thereby also deleting the program and thus the device is no longer operable.

  • Patent number: 7170354
Abstract: An oscillator circuit for generating signals with a predetermined oscillator frequency is provided. The oscillator circuit has at least one resonator and at least one load impedance connected to the resonator. The oscillator circuit may be fully automatically trimmed and economically produced and, moreover, is of an improved quality wherein the load impedance comprises at least one structure which may be machined by means of high-energy radiation to trim the resonant characteristics of the oscillator circuit.

  • Patent number: 6469248
Abstract: A hybrid circuit with a heat dissipation system includes a terminal arrangement wherein at least one of the connecting pins (5) to solder the hybrid circuit (1) on a printed board has a heat transition resistance to the hybrid circuit (1), which is greater in relation to the other connecting pins (2) in such a way that the connecting pin (5) does not reach the melting temperature of the solder used at a given power level.
