  • Publication number: 20240152472
Abstract: A modular communication system for connection to a master unit, including a device which is configured in a decentralized manner and includes at least a first module and a second module, wherein the first module is configured and set up to be directly connected to the master unit, and wherein the second module is directly connected to the first module and is configured and set up to be indirectly connected to the master unit via the first module, wherein the first module is further configured and set up to receive a data signal from the master unit. The data signal includes at least a first data set usable by the first module, and at least a second data set usable by the second module. The present disclosure further relates to a summing frame method, to a block frame method and to an indexing method for operating the communication system.

  • Publication number: 20240078105
Abstract: A device including at least a memory, a processor and an e-ink display, wherein the processor is configured and set up to read out service information from the memory, generate a machine-readable code based on the service information, and transmit the machine-readable code to the e-ink display such that the e-ink display displays the machine-readable code which, when read using a terminal, causes the terminal to retrieve the service information. A method of operating a device having an e-ink display.

  • Patent number: 11257310
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a function module for an electronic access control to a housing in electrical equipment. Electronic built-in modules are arranged in the housing. At least one of the built-in modules is connected to a data bus, wherein the built-in module is accessible via an interface and the data bus for the exchange of data. A switchable blocking module is provided according to the invention between the interface and the data bus, wherein the blocking module in a disable state restricts or interrupts the data traffic on the data bus at least for a data exchange between the interface and the built-in module, and in an enable state enables the data bus for an unrestricted exchange of data between the interface and the built-in module.

  • Patent number: 9528293
Abstract: An operating attachment (10) for operating a push button or switch, which includes a housing, (12) a handling part (11) having an actuator element (19) supported by said housing (12) for rotation in a direction of rotation (U), an operating element (26) displaceable parallel to a longitudinal axis (L) of the housing for operating a push button or switch, an operating drive (37) for transferring rotary movement of the actuator element (19) into a linear motion of the operating element (26) between an initial position (A) and an operating position (B), and a latching device (42) for latching the actuator element (19) in a latched position (R). The attachment apparatus (10) further includes at least one encoding element (48) moveable between a first encoding position (K1) that allows for rotation of the actuator (11) into the latched position (R) and a second encoding position (K2) which limits rotation of the actuator element (19) prior to reaching the latched position (R).

  • Patent number: 5459633
Abstract: The present invention relates to an interdigital capacitor and to a method for producing an interdigital capacitor having a finger structure of a coplanar stub line covered by an air bridge pocket for increasing the capacitance of the coplanar line. The air bridge pocket provides shielding for the capacitor structure. The disclosed manufacturing method includes producing a galvanic reinforcement of the center line of the coplanar line.

  • Patent number: 4918410
Abstract: An insert for non-reciprocal waveguide device comprises a layer of ferrite and a layer of energy absorbing material with a spacer layer between them. The device works by reason of asymmetrical interaction of the microwave energy and the ferrite whereby energy is preferentially absorbed in the reverse direction. The spacer layer affects the distribution of electromagnetic fields so that there is a relatively low attenuation associated with one direction and a relatively high attenuation associated with the reverse direction.
