  • Patent number: 7581280
Abstract: The invention relates to a wiper device for windows of motor vehicles, comprised of a non-articulated wiper blade with a wiper strip, a wiper lip arranged thereon and a coupling part that can be connected to the wiper blade for a detachable connection with a swivelable wiper arm of the vehicle, wherein the wiper strip includes a profile with guide grooves to laterally accommodate two spring rails, which are each connected with one another as a single piece on their two ends. It is provided that the wiper strip (16) feature a locking device, which, in a locked setting, fixes the spring rails (20) in the wiper strip (16), and which, in an unlocked setting, enables a longitudinal displacement of the spring rails (20) in the guide grooves (24) of the wiper strip (16).

  • Patent number: 7493672
Abstract: An adapter (38, 66) for the articulated connection of a wiper blade (24) to a wiper arm (10) using the sidelock system, wherein the adapter (38, 66) has an essentially cylindrical longitudinally slotted bearing element (40, 68), which can be inserted into passages (34) in side walls (30) of a suspension box (28) of the wiper blade (24) and can be fixed on a first end on the edge of a passage (34) by means of locking hooks (50), while its second end is connected with a bearing surface (54, 78), which is adjacent to the outer side of the opposing side wall (30) and is secured against twisting by at least one clip (58, 80). The clip (58, 80) has a locking nose (60), which points in the direction of the bearing element and locks on an edge of the coordinating side wall (30) of the suspension box (28) during assembly.

  • Publication number: 20080016643
Abstract: The invention starts with a wiper blade (10) comprising a rubber elastic wiper strip (12) in which a resilient rail (18, 20) is inserted into a lateral longitudinal groove on each side of side of said wiper blade as a support element and laterally protrudes from the longitudinal groove, wherein the resilient rails (18, 20) support terminal caps (26, 60, 81) while being held together at their ends and being fixed relative to the wiper strip (12) in the longitudinal direction by a bridge (22), which is joined in a fixed manner to the resilient rails (18, 20) at the lateral parts of said bridge and forms a free space for a top strip (16) of the wiper strip (12) in the central area of the bridge. It is proposed that the terminal caps (26, 60, 81) have detachable fixing means (52) that engage in the top strip (16) of the wiper strip (12), wherein the axial movability of the resilient rails (18, 20) relative to the wiper strip (12) is limited by the terminal caps (26, 60, 81).

  • Publication number: 20070289082
Abstract: The invention relates to a wiper blade (10) comprising a supporting element (12), on whose one side a wiper strip (14) can be mounted and on whose other side a connecting device (16) for a wiper arm (18) can be mounted, and which has two longitudinal rails (38) that are fixed relative to one another via bridges (40) and covered by caps (30, 70) at their ends (42). It is proposed that at least one cap (30, 70) consist of several parts and have a basic body (32, 72) and at least one moveable part (34, 74), wherein the basic body (32, 72) establishes a connection to the longitudinal rails (38), and the moveable part (34, 74) directly and/or indirectly fixes the wiper strip (14).
