    Abstract: A method for controlling narrowing of at least one airway and associated apparatus are provided. The method includes positioning a needle-less injection assembly in an airway of a patient, and introducing a medication from at least one port of the needle-less injection assembly across an epithelium of a wall of the airway and into collagenous and smooth muscle layers of the airway wall such that the medication controls at least one mechanism of airway narrowing.
