Abstract: A blocking device for attaching to an entry aperture structure of a spring brake cylinder of a vehicle includes a blocking fastener having a head and a shaft extending from the head. The head has a plurality of cylindrical recesses that extend generally parallel to the shaft. At least a portion of the shaft is threaded. A fastener receiver has an insertion portion and a base extending generally transversely to the insertion portion. The insertion portion has an interior surface that is threaded and is configured to receive the shaft of the blocking fastener. The base has a first tier that extends generally radially from the insertion portion and has a diameter that corresponds to the diameter of the entry aperture structure such that the base engages the entry aperture structure radially. A fastener receiving component is disposed on the shaft.

Abstract: An impact resistant collapsible step assembly for use with a high profile vehicle is described. The step assembly includes an elongate support member or first step having a first and a second opposing ends, a step platform or second step positioned adjacent to the support member, the step platform having first and second opposing ends, first and second upper retention members secured to the first and second ends of the support member, first lower and second lower retention members secured to the opposing ends of the step platform, and, least one flexible connection member attached to the upper and lower retention members for releasably securing the step platform relative to the support member, wherein the connection member collapses the step platform upon impact with an external object.

Abstract: A retaining device and assembly for securing a modular structure to a vehicle bed is disclosed. The assembly includes a main body, a retaining portion forming an end of the main body, and means for securing the main body to the vehicle bed, wherein the secured main body and retaining portion prevent the structure from moving while positioned within the vehicle bed. The retaining assembly is compatible with existing fasteners or tie-downs on the cargo bed of the vehicle; therefore, no additional modifications are needed to the cargo bed to accommodate the retaining assembly.

Abstract: A vocational truck vehicle has a vocational body mounted on a chassis rearward of a cab and overlying at least one rear axle. A fuel storage module for storing fuel for use by an alternative-fueled combustion engine which propels the vehicle has a frame holding at least one fuel storage vessel and attached to the vocational body to locate the fuel storage module in confronting relation to a rearward-facing wall of the vocational body.
