    Abstract: A method of allocating calls of a lift installation with at least one lift and at least one car per lift to move passengers in a journey from at least one input floor to at least one destination floor, a system for executing the method and a computer readable memory with instructions for executing the method. The method includes receiving input calls from passengers travelling from an input floor to a destination floor, each call identifying at least one floor as an input floor or a destination floor. A start zone with identified input floors and a destination zone with identified destination floors are determined from the input calls and destination calls. Each identified floor within a corresponding zone is considered using at least one selection criterion and a stopping floor is selected which satisfies the criterion. The car is caused to stop at fewer than all the identified input floors and identified destination floors during the journey.

A fluid can be fed between the effective surface of the brake shoe and the friction surface, which faces it, by means of the feed device.     Abstract: An elevator has a first and a second cage, which are movable along a common travel path. In addition, the elevator includes a safety device, by which the two cages can be monitored, and a shaft information system, which is connected with the safety device and by which the speed and the position of the two cages can be determined. If the two cages fall below a safety spacing, a first braking measure can be initiated for at least a first cage by means of the safety device. A retardation plot for the at least first cage is predeterminable by the safety device on initiation of the first braking measure. In that case, a second braking measure can be initiated for the at least first cage by means of the safety device if the retardation plot is exceeded.

    Abstract: In an elevator installation an elevator cage is arranged to be movable along guide rails and the elevator cage is equipped with a brake system possibly with two safety brakes. The safety device is activated by way of control devices which can trigger the safety device from critical or non-critical events. The control devices further include a function for automatic resetting of the safety brake when an event, which is evaluated as non-critical, is indicated as a reason for triggering the safety brake. Resetting of the safety brake takes place through execution of pre-defined resetting steps of the elevator cage.

    Abstract: In this speed limiter with cam wheel and pivot lever and pivot roller, a force limiter wheel with a plurality of dogs is provided at the pivot lever instead of a dog entering into the path of ratchet wheel teeth, wherein the force limiter wheel is braked by means of a slip clutch. If in the case of triggering the braking force in the limiter cable exceeds the force of the slip clutch the force limiter wheel rotates at the dog disposed in engagement with the ratchet wheel teeth, in which case the cable pulley rotates therewith and the stress in the limiter cable builds up and the succeeding dog enters into the path of the ratchet wheel teeth and blocks the cable pulley again. The parts participating in the triggering can thereby be protected from excessive action of force.
