  • Publication number: 20120155593
Abstract: Apparatus and method for detecting forgery by neutron activation of art objects or other valuables such as bonds, wills, etc. comprising of a device applying neutron irradiation to a reference spot sufficient to produce radiation including gamma rays; immediately thereafter, a device and method of the invention determines and records the rate of emission as a function of time that results from the application of the thermal neutron irradiation to the reference spot and produces ‘initial’ data thereof; at one or several selected subsequent intervals thereafter, the device and method determines and records the quantitative measures of the radiation emission in the gamma ranges of energy emanating from the reference spot taken at time intervals after activation and produces ‘subsequent’ data, and a device and method compares ‘initial’ data with ‘subsequent’ data.

  • Patent number: 8168173
Abstract: This invention concerns the process of creating an energy supplement product, good also as an anti-aging, aphrodisiac and as an alternative source to prevent or to remedy some diseases. The product is a composition of five ingredients: four marine animals (sea cucumber, sea urchin, sea sponge, and shark fin), and an algae called Sargassum. These ingredients are sterilized and then dried by using isothermal isotopes, reduced to powder, measured and encapsulated.

  • Patent number: 8127840
Abstract: The present invention deals with a method to liquefy the viscous oil of oil wells and also to clean the paraffin off the walls of tubing and other production equipment. The method consists in using heat produced by a thermal generator, and also using steam produced by the contact between the thermal generator and water. The thermal generator is a metallic shielded container of cylindrical shape holding individual units of already encapsulated Strontium-90 sources able to generate a temperature of 100 degree Celsius or a combination of encapsulated Strontium-90 sources able to generate 100 degree Celsius each in order to obtain, according to necessities, up to or over 600 degree Celsius. The thermal generator is transported in a metal housing.

The thermal generator is transported in a metal housing such as that patented by Joan G. Crihan (U.S. Pat. No. 6,455,013 of 2002), one of the undersigned, incorporated herein by reference, to a processing site.

  • Publication number: 20090173921
Abstract: The present invention deals with the encapsulation of a nuclear source of energy (Strontium 90) in order to generate up to 600 degree Celsius. The encapsulated Strontium 90 is destined to be used to generate steam, or to liquefy the viscous oil of wells, as well as the paraffin, covering the cables used in the extraction of oil, which makes the extraction difficult or impossible. The encapsulated Strontium 90 has to be transported into a metal housing already patented by Ioan G. Crihan, one of the undersigned authors (FIG. 1).

  • Patent number: 6242664
Abstract: A method and equipment for accomplishing same for rapid sterilization of huge quantities of medical waste materials by exposure to a high dose of radiation energy. The radiation sterilizes organic materials destroying insects, molds, bacteria, viruses and other destructive biological vectors. The equipment includes an improved irradiating facility, namely, either a mobile temporary irradiating chamber, or a fixed temporary irradiation chamber with protective walls capable of being assembled or disassembled. The gear is mounted on suitable transportation means.

  • Patent number: 4765655
Abstract: A method for rapid identification of art objects or other valuables. Oil paintings, sculptures and other valuable objects are coded with radioisotopes at a specific X,Y,Z coordinate system. The exact location of the isotope and a measurement of the emitted radiation are recorded for future use to show the art object, or any other valuable object, has been destroyed, stolen, lost, or duplicated.

  • Patent number: 4246295
Abstract: A method for treatment of an organic material containing art object, such as a wood carving, a painting on wood or canvas, a textile hanging or a tooled leather saddle, for preservation and restoration thereof. The method includes the steps of partially impregnating the art object with an unsaturated resin and exposing the partially impregnated art object to a large dose of radiation to polymerize the resin, without addition of any catalysts and without the production of any significant exothermic reaction. The polymerized resin strengthens the art object and the radiation sterilizes the art object, destroying insects, molds, and other destructive biological vectors.
