  • Publication number: 20200277052
Abstract: An improved drone with 4 flat wings reciprocating up and down, complete with motor and electronics. Appendages on each wing's surface allow air to pass across it during the up-motion, and block it in the down-motion; this creates lift and permits flight and manoeuvres. The drone resembles either a flying bird or an insect, depending on wing motion and on passive attachments appropriate for the respective resemblance, making for inconspicuousness. The drone can execute complex work, either as solitary or in a team, either in flight or at rest in various places, after approaching and adhering expertly.

  • Publication number: 20190204824
Abstract: The present disclosure describes a system to facilitate the landing of drones including an eye tracker, an interpreter, and a control system configured to be worn by a person that performs coded moves of their arms and hands during a drone landing operation. In accordance with an exemplary embodiment, the eye tracker recognizes the line of sight of the person with respect to a drone, the interpreter identifies the coded moves performed by the person during landing of the drone, and the control system generates a signal to cause a transmitter to rotate into a position so as to establish a direct optical communication link to the drone to which is sent information relating to the identified coded moves.

  • Publication number: 20190031322
Abstract: A stealth craft's aerodynamics and flight stability are improved with the use of a multi-faceted dihedral planform. The stealth craft includes a multi-faceted dihedral planform extending in a direction from a front to a rear of a craft (or wing) and defined by a first set of facets followed by a second set of facets. In an exemplary embodiment, the first and second sets of facets have an angle of incline that is ascending and descending, respectively, with respect to the direction of the planform. Selected ones of the first and second sets of facets are configured with insufflation slots for improving aerodynamics and stability, the insufflation slots extending spanwise in a direction transverse to the direction of the planform and provided to insufflate a fluid to form a cushion of air along the multi-faceted dihedral planform for improving aerodynamics and stability.
