  • Patent number: 11880237
Abstract: A wearable device has a housing containing electronics and a band that retains the wearable device on a user's arm. Each end of the housing has an open receptacle. The band has protrusions made from an elastomeric material and includes a rigid member arranged at least partially within. The protrusions are inserted into the receptacle to attach the band to the housing. A lower portion of the housing comprises two pieces that, when assembled, provide optical baffles between adjacent optical devices such as a heart rate monitor, and windows for the optical devices to operate. A thermal conductor is retained between the two pieces and facilitates operation of a temperature sensor in the device. An antenna carrier facilitates installation of an antenna without impairing fixation of an upper portion of the housing. A compact charger clips to the housing to supply power to recharge a battery in the wearable device.

  • Patent number: 11850847
Abstract: An inkjet printing apparatus includes a head that ejects ink toward a recording medium transported by a transport unit, and an ejection controller that causes the head to eject ink. The ejection controller is configured to perform process including: process of calculating a transport speed of the recording medium; process of generating reference timing of ejection of ink by the head; process of determining a target delay amount by which timing of ejection of ink by the head is delayed from the reference timing on the basis of a transport speed coinciding with the reference timing; process of updating a target delay amount, on the occurrence of change in the transport speed before the recording medium is transported by a distance corresponding to the target delay amount, the target delay amount being updated in response to the transport speed as changed; and process of delaying timing of ejection of ink by the head on the basis of the target delay amount as updated.

  • Patent number: 11839749
Abstract: Provided is a syringe cap including a projection extending in the circumferential direction of a cap body, wherein the projection includes an apex located radially outward of the cap body from the outer circumferential surface of the cap body, a first inclined surface having a starting end located at the apex and having a terminal end located at a position on the side closer to the proximal end of the cap body than the starting end is, and a second inclined surface having a starting end located at the apex and on the outer circumferential surface of the cap body having a terminal end located at a position on the side closer to the distal end of the cap body than the starting end is, on the outer circumferential surface of the cap body, and the shortest distance from the starting end to the terminal end of the first inclined surface is smaller than the shortest distance from the starting end to the terminal end of the second inclined surface.

  • Publication number: 20230264473
Abstract: A technique is provided that reduces the occurrence of a difference in print resolution between an upstream ejector and a downstream ejector due to expansion and contraction of a recording medium. An inkjet printing apparatus includes four heads arranged in a transport direction and four ejection controllers that control the four heads, respectively. Each ejection controller includes an ejection timing generator that generates an ejection timing signal for causing the head that is controlled to eject ink toward a target portion of a recording medium, an expansion/contraction amount estimator that estimates the amount of expansion and contraction in the target portion, and a correction information generator that outputs, to a downstream ejection controller, correction information that includes the ejection timing signal and expansion/contraction amount information indicating the amount of expansion and contraction.

  • Publication number: 20230076297
Abstract: Provided is an injection device including an engagement releasing mechanism configured to release engagement between a plunger and an engaging member and to cause the plunger to be located at an end point in a manner that the plunger moves from a start point toward the end point by an urging force of a plunger urging portion and the plunger and the engaging member rotate relative to each other around a central axis.

  • Patent number: 11496646
Abstract: An image shifter creates plural pairs of shift image data. A shading corrector and a halftone dot processor create halftone shift image data from shift images. Further, a difference image creator creates halftone common image data which is a common part of a pair of halftone shift image data, and creates halftone positive difference image data and halftone negative difference image data each of which is a difference between the halftone common image data and one of a pair of halftone shift image data. A composite image creator synthesizes the halftone common image data corresponding to an amount of positional deviation, and the halftone positive difference image data or halftone negative difference image data. A controller executes printing on web paper. Since the image data is only synthesized, processing load can be lightened even if printing is performed to restrain positional deviations.

  • Patent number: 10903612
Abstract: A dock includes a first section and a second section joined with a spring hinge assembly. An applied force opens the dock and a device may be placed within the dock. The first section includes a first concavity which approximately conforms to a top surface of the device. Within the first concavity is a ridge which comes into contact with part of the top surface of the device. The second section includes a second concavity within which a bottom surface of the device fits. Electrical contacts such as pogo pins within the second section come into contact with electrical contacts on the bottom surface of the device. Annular elastomeric features around at least some of the pogo pins have a top edge which may come into contact with the bottom surface of the device. The spring hinge applies a force that closes the dock, retaining the device therein.
