  • Publication number: 20230125280
Abstract: Novel tetrahydroisoquinoline derivative compounds are disclosed herein that may be used as an active ingredient for a pharmaceutical composition, and in particular, for a pharmaceutical composition useful for preventing or treating a disease or condition responsive to modulation of the contractility of the skeletal sarcomere. This may be accomplished, for example, by modulation of the troponin complex of the fast skeletal muscle sarcomere through one or more of fast skeletal myosin, actin, tropomyosin, troponin C, troponin I, and troponin T, and fragments and isoforms thereof. The tetrahydroisoquinoline derivative compounds can thus be used as an agent for preventing or treating 1) neuromuscular disorders, 2) disorders of voluntary muscle, 3) CNS disorders in which muscle weakness, atrophy, and fatigue are prominent symptoms, 4) muscle symptoms stemming from systemic disorders, and 5) dysfunctions of pelvic floor and urethral/anal sphincter muscle.

  • Publication number: 20210050196
Abstract: This sputtering cathode has a sputtering target having a tubular shape in which the cross-sectional shape thereof has a pair of long side sections facing each other, and an erosion surface facing inward. Using the sputtering target, while moving a body to be film-formed, which has a film formation region having a narrower width than the long side sections of the sputtering target, parallel to one end face of the sputtering target and at a constant speed in a direction perpendicular to the long side sections above a space surrounded by the sputtering target, discharge is performed such that a plasma circulating along the inner surface of the sputtering target is generated, and the inner surface of the long side sections of the sputtering target is sputtered by ions in the plasma generated by a sputtering gas to perform film formation in the film formation region of the body to be film-formed.

  • Patent number: 9447090
Abstract: An excellent drug for treating or preventing cardiovascular diseases, based on cGMP production enhancing action due to soluble guanylate cyclase activating action, is provided. It was found that imidazopyridine compounds having a carbamoyl group at the 3-position and a substituent bonded at the 8-position via an oxygen atom in an imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine skeleton exhibits a cGMP production enhancing action by a potent soluble guanylate cyclase activating action, and is useful as a drug for treating or preventing various soluble guanylate cyclase-related cardiovascular diseases, thereby completing the present invention.

  • Patent number: 9284295
Abstract: The purpose is to provide a compound which has an intestinal phosphate transporter (NPT-IIb) inhibitory action and is useful as an active ingredient of an agent for treating and/or preventing hyperphosphatemia. A tetrahydrobenzothiophene compound of the following formula (I) has NPT-IIb inhibitory action and can be used as an agent for treating and/or preventing hyperphosphatemia: wherein, R1 represents —O-lower alkyl, -lower alkylene-phenyl, or the like; R2 and R3 are the same as or different from each other and represent H, lower alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, heteroaryl or the like, or, R2 and R3 may be combined with a nitrogen atom to which they bind to form 5- to 7-membered saturated cyclic amino; R4's are the same as or different from each other and represent halogen, lower alkyl; and n represents 0 to 2.

  • Patent number: 9062032
Abstract: [Problem] To provide a compound that has an intestinal phosphate transporter (NPT-IIb) inhibitory action and is useful as an active ingredient of an agent for treating and/or preventing hyperphosphatemia. [Means for Solution] The present inventors conducted their studies on a compound that has an NPT-IIb inhibitory action and is useful as an active ingredient of an agent for treating and/or preventing hyperphosphatemia. As a result, they created an aminoalkyl-substituted N-thienylbenzamide derivative which has NPT-IIb inhibitory action, thereby completing the present invention. The aminoalkyl-substituted N-thienylbenzamide derivative of the present invention has an NPT-IIb inhibitory action and can be used as an agent for preventing and/or treating hyperphosphatemia.
