    Abstract: A gas hydrate desalination system that includes a reactor with a detachable water jacket and thermocouples. The reactor has a detachable lid having a liquid inlet, a gas inlet, sapphire glass lenses, and lid cameras. An exit concentrate channel is provided at a bottom of the reactor. A mixing unit of the system includes a liquid storage tank connected to the reactor through the liquid inlet, and a gas feed cylinder connected the reactor through the gas inlet. A resolving unit of the system includes a sieve filter column for filtering brine from gas hydrate. The sieve filter column is connected to the exit concentrate channel and a first fraction column, which is connected to a brine column. The channel is further connected to a second fraction column, which is connected to the brine column for separating freshwater from the gas hydrate.

    Abstract: A herbal based beverage composition includes herbal distillates (Arqiat) extracted from natural herbs (rose, sandal, khas and ushna), water, sweetener(s), acidulant(s), colorant, preservative, stabilizing agent and flavoring agent. The beverage composition is free from caffeine and phosphoric acid. A method of preparing the natural beverage composition includes dissolving the sugar in herbal distillates (Arqiat) extract of herbs (rose, sandal, khas and ushna) with acidity regulator and preservative. The mixture is heated and stirred to dissolve all ingredients until reaching 70° C.-75° C. The syrup is transferred into cooking pans and cooked at boiling to adjust the Bricks. Sweetener and color are added in the syrup followed by filtering and cooling. The unflavored syrup is diluted with treated water to finish the syrup. Flavor and stabilizer are added in the prepared syrup and the beverage is tested for pH, Brix and acidity. Containers are filled with the beverage through a carbo cooler.

    Abstract: A protective sock that integrates a protective padding to provide a unitary garment is disclosed. As such, a wearer's need to frequently adjust the position of the protective equipment is likely reduced. An integrated and flexible protective padding also limits the amount of equipment required by the wearer. The padding also conforms to the wearer's body, and thus likely increases the athlete's wearer's comfort. A protective sock that integrates a high friction surface to restrict the movement of any secondary equipment is also disclosed. Such a restriction prevents the exposure of a wearer's body to potential injury. Movement of the secondary equipment may also be distracting to the wearer. As such, the integrated high friction surface likely provides the athlete wearer with a performance advantage. The sock may integrate the protective padding and/or the high friction surface.
