  • Patent number: 9407467
Abstract: As system and method to transmit information with intensity interferometry includes a digital switch configured to receive a baseline message, and, for each of a plurality of bits of a received interferometric message, set the digital switch to an output position depending upon the bit value of the interferometric message. A first and second pair of transmitters separated by a first and second defined distance, wherein the defined distances are different, are configured to broadcast each of the plurality of bits of the baseline message depending upon the output position of the digital switch. One or more pairs of receivers are configured to receive the broadcast of the plurality of bits of the baseline message. An interferometric message recovery module is configured to recover the bits of the received interferometric message after receiving the broadcast of the baseline message at the one or more pairs of receivers.

  • Publication number: 20130101059
Abstract: A method for physical layer steganography communications is provided by combining an encoded cover data stream with a hidden data stream to create stego data stream. The cover and hidden data streams can be combined by determining an insertion rate, and determining, for each bit of the hidden data stream, whether to change an associated bit in the cover data stream. The bit of the cover data stream is changed to match the hidden data stream when the two bits are different. Otherwise, the cover data stream bit stays the same. The stego data stream can then be modulated and transmitted to a receiver. At the receiver, the stego data stream can be split to extract the hidden data stream, and the cover data stream can be decoded.

  • Patent number: 7313250
Abstract: The present invention is a digital watermarking technique Phasemark™ for image authentication. Using a signature extracted from the original image, the present invention hides an encoded version of the signature back into the original image, forming the watermarked image. The hiding is done in the frequency domain. Specifically, the present invention is a new transform domain digital watermarking technique that hides a signature obtained from the Fourier phases into the magnitude spectrum of the same host image. The detection process computes the discrete Fourier transform of the watermarked image, extracts and decodes the embedded signature, and then correlates it with calculated phase information. Correlation metrics determine the degree of authenticity of the image.

  • Patent number: 7149897
Abstract: In a communication system having a plurality of networks, a method of achieving network separation between first and second networks is described. First and second networks with respective first and second degrees of trust are defined, the first degree of trust being higher than the second degree of trust. Communication between the first and second networks is enabled via a network interface system having a protocol stack, the protocol stack implemented by the network interface system in an application layer. Data communication from the second network to the first network is enabled while data communication from the first network to the second network is minimized.
