    Abstract: A table lookup system utilizes an RAM-based associative table that stores compressed keys. An incoming basekey is hashed by a first set of hash functions to compute hkeys used to access a line in a corresponding subtable. A second set of hash functions compute compkeys which are stored in entries lines of corresponding subtables.
