  • Publication number: 20110083810
Abstract: A sealing machine for a fresh-keeping and cooking container is provided. The sealing machine includes a lidding-film processing unit, a bonding unit, and a heat-sealing unit. The lidding-film processing unit includes die cutters and hot needles for forming line-segment-shaped, spaced slits and dot-shaped atmosphere-modifying breathing holes on a surface of a lidding film passing through the lidding-film processing unit. The processed lidding film then enters the bonding unit and is bonded with an airtight sealing strip whose bottom is provided with adhesive. Afterward, the lidding film bonded with the sealing strip enters the heat-sealing unit so as to cover an opening of a container and be heat-sealed to a heat-sealable rim of the opening. Thus, the lidding film is processed and sealed to the container in a continuous manner to simplify sealing of the container and removal of scraps cut from the used lidding film.

  • Publication number: 20040069157
Abstract: The present invention relates to a microwaveable zipper bag for food packaging. More particularly, it relates to a zipper bag with superior air and moisture vapor permeabilities, particularly suited for microwave heating of foods. The microwaveable zipper bag comprises a plurality of pseudo-closed gaps on the film for air permeation formed by virtue of an impression process and a pair of male-female zipper profile. An optional sealing layer material can be coated on the top of the film to fill the gaps. When the pressure difference across the film increases inside the closed microwaveable zipper bag, the heated air will inflate the bag. Those gaps will be opened gradually and regulates the pressure to prevent bursting of the microwaveable zipper bag. On the other hand, when the heating stops, the temperature inside the closed microwaveable zipper bag decreases and the sealing ability of the pseudo-closed gaps is restored due to a gap re-closing.

  • Patent number: 5962992
Abstract: A lighting control system (LCS) (50) is provided to remotely and centrally control the operation of lamps and other electrical appliances. The LCS (50) includes a master controller (100), zone controllers (110), slave units (120), an IR controller (160). The master controller (100), zone controllers (110), and slave units (120) are electrically linked together over a common powerline through a process of installation. A process of verification is provided to confirm that the master controller (100), zone controllers (110), and slave units (120) are installed properly. The slave units (120) are further linked with a corresponding electrical appliance. Appropriate commands applied by a user of the LCS (50) to the master controller (100), the zone controllers (110), the slave units (120), and the IR controller (160) control the operation of electrical appliances individually or collectively. The LCS (50) allows the program and recall of configurations of operating levels of the electrical appliances.
