Abstract: Disclosed is an adhesable garment pocket and method of attachment that is adapted to create a secure connection with a target garment, provide a securable pocket enclosure and further a novel connection means that contemplates several ornamental designs and configurations. The garment pocket comprises coextensive adhesive backing surface that is preferably enlarged with respect to the pocket, wherein a pocket flap is connected to the backing surface along three of its sides. The backing surface provides a continuous surface area, preferably extending beyond the boundaries of the pocket flap, wherein the rear side of the backing surface comprises adhesive bonding material. The backing surface is designed to include varying boundary shapes, colors, embossments and patterns to create a unique pocket background, while its continuous surface area ensures a stable and long-term connection to the target garment without the use of fasteners or stitching.
