Abstract: The invention relates to a laminate that has at least two layers, in which at least one layer of the laminate is a water-soluble polymer film containing active substances (=“water-soluble polymer film containing active substances”), the polymer forming the film is a water-soluble polymer, and at least one second layer of the laminate is a nonwoven fabric, knitted fabric, woven fabric or a foam film (=“water retention layer”) consisting of a water-soluble polymer. The water-soluble polymers of the two layers are identical or different. The invention further relates to the production of such a laminate and to the use thereof.

Abstract: The subject matter of the present invention is a hydrogel which includes a combination of at least four polysaccharides. These polysaccharides are those which are in the natural state and which are not produced, altered or modified by chemical reactions. The combination of konjac mannan, xanthan gum, pullulan and carrageenan and optionally sclerotium gum produces, within certain concentration ranges, a stable, slightly sticky, neutral smelling, flexible and transparent hydrogel which can be used as a cosmetic product for skin care.

Abstract: An insect trap is described which comprises an insect-attracting element and an insect-holding element, the insect-attracting element being a hologram, that is to say a material in the form of a film which contains the result of a holographic recording method. A cavity or an adhesive, advantageously in the form of an adhesive layer, may be used as the insect-holding element of the insect trap. The insect trap may also contain insecticides and attractants. The use of a hologram is particularly suitable for attraction of flying insect species such as the housefly, the Indian meal moth, the clothes moth, mosquitoes and the common wasp.
