Publication number: 20250103638Abstract: A mechanism for performing generalization on data records. The data records are clustered to produce one or more clusters of data records. In each cluster, any property that is attributed to a subject of any data record in the cluster is identified. An iterative process is performed for each cluster comprising processing sets of the identified properties, wherein the number of properties in a set is N, to identify any/all set(s) of properties for which between 0 and k data records have binary values that attribute all of those properties of the set to the said data records. In the cluster, the binary data value for one or more of the properties in each identified set of properties is generalized. The iterative process is repeated m times, with the value of N increasing by one for each iterative process.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 23, 2024Publication date: March 27, 2025Inventors: Zhi Wei Dou, IRIS YAN

Publication number: 20240160309Abstract: A control device includes an exterior panel comprising multiple regions, including a groove region and a surrounding region that surrounds the groove region. The control device further includes a sensor layer comprising one or more sensors to detect touch inputs performed on the groove region and the surrounding region of the exterior panel. The control device further includes a control module configured to operate a plurality of devices. The control module is configured to detect a first touch input performed by a user on the groove region and a second touch input performed on the surrounding region. Based at least in part on the location of the touch inputs the control module operates respective devices of the plurality of devices.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 8, 2023Publication date: May 16, 2024Inventors: Aaron T. Emigh, Steven Stanek, Brian Cardanha, Bozhi See, Iris Yan, Gaurav Hardikar

Patent number: 11928955Abstract: A control device includes a controller and a safety disconnect mechanism that is illuminable. The controller couples to a power supply line and a load line. Further, the controller is operable to control a power output on the load line using a power supplied by the power supply line. The safety disconnect mechanism is manipulatable between (i) an engaged state, coinciding with the power supply line being electrically coupled to the load line, and (ii) a disengaged state, coinciding with the power supply line and the load line being electrically decoupled, so that no power output is provided on the load line. A lighting element can be provided with the safety disconnect mechanism, where the lighting element is configured to have at least a first illumination state that is indicative of the safety disconnect mechanism being in the engaged position, and a second illumination state that is indicative of the safety disconnect mechanism being in the disengaged state.Type: GrantFiled: January 5, 2021Date of Patent: March 12, 2024Assignee: BRILLIANT HOME TECHNOLOGY, INC.Inventors: Brian Cardanha, Iris Yan
