Abstract: An oven for cooking and/or defrosting food by recirculating heated air is provided with a temperature control means for measuring the actual internal temperature of the food and switching the oven off when the desired temperature is reached. The control includes a temperature sensing device which is insertable into the food for monitoring the actual internal food temperature and a circuit for monitoring the malfunctioning of the sensing device. The monitoring circuit is incorporated into the temperature control and is capable of switching the oven off when a malfunction is detected. The control circuit is also provided with a bypass circuit to allow the oven to be operated without the temperature sensor.

Abstract: An improvement in an automatic cooking apparatus having a rotating wide-mouthed vessel closed with a lid and driven from the end opposite the open end of the vessel. Heating means are provided along a portion of the vessel circumference and are controlled to maintain food contained within the vessel at a predetermined temperature for a preset time. Means are provided to supply a predetermined quantity of heat to the cooking vessel without the need for a temperature sensing means.

Abstract: The electrical water heater and dispenser is designed to heat a small amount of water such as two or three cups of water for use in making hot coffee, hot tea, cocoa, etc. A manually operable valve is provided for dispensing water into at least one receiver adapted to be temporarily positioned therebelow. A heat sink is fixedly secured to substantially the entire body surface of the water tank having a discharge port in its bottom wall. Heater coils are fixedly secured to the heat sink and circumscribe the discharge port.

Abstract: A percolator is provided with a preassembled partition plate heater assembly wherein a one-piece non-corrosive metal partition plate has a centrally located pump well. An annular heat distribution plate surrounds the well and is fixedly connected to a bottom surface of said plate. A main heater coil surrounds said well and is mechanically coupled to said heat distribution plate. An auxiliary heater coil is radially outwardly from said main heater coil and is mechanically coupled to said heat distribution plate. A thermostat is in direct contact with a bottom surface of said partition plate and is releasably supported by said heat distribution plate.

Abstract: The food processor includes a housing having a motor chamber disposed alongside of a food processing bowl thereby materially decreasing the overall height of the apparatus. A lid is removably attached to the bowl and when properly in position, actuates a motor control switch on the housing whereby the motor may rotate a tool disposed within the bowl. The bowl is removable for purposes of washing the same.
