    Abstract: The present invention concerns a method and apparatus for enabling a motorized vehicle to stop and/or start on ice and snow. More particularly the present invention relates to a method and apparatus which allows the driver of a motorized vehicle to safely come to a complete stop on icy/snowy roads without skidding and which also allows the driver of the motorized vehicle to move forward from a stopped position on icy and snowy roads without slippage between the wheels of the motorized vehicle and the road surface.
