Abstract: A dental prosthetic device having a base constructed of an inexpensive remoldable material to allow for inexpensive and quick fitting and refitting to accommodate changes in dental structure. Harder tooth-like structures are associated with a mounting surface of the base, such as by overmolding the base onto ends of the structures, so that when the device is placed over a dental arch within a user's mouth, the tooth-like structures facilitate biting and chewing in the manner of teeth.
