  • Patent number: 10251825
Abstract: A composition comprising a compound having a Formula I: wherein T is derivative of a terpene and R is a derivative of a neurotransmitter amino acid. Pharmaceutical formulations for topical use as insect repellents including the terpenes and terpene esters in form of the pharmaceutically acceptable salt or base are provided. A process for preparing the composition and the formulations are also provided.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 28, 2017
Date of Patent: April 9, 2019
Inventors: Iryna Kravchenko, Mariia Nesterkina, Sergiy Lozovsky
  • Patent number: 10245272
Abstract: A transmembrane penetration enhancer includes a thermotropic liquid crystal suitably prepared for use in a therapeutic system to improve delivery of at least one active ingredient across a biomembrane and/or skin. The thermotropic liquid crystal comprises at least one cholesteryl ester and is effective in a mesomorphic state at a temperature of the biomembrane and/or skin. A therapeutic system includes the prepared thermotropic liquid crystal for enhanced transmembrane penetration and at least one active ingredient for delivery by the thermotropic liquid crystal. A method for making and using the transmembrane penetration enhancer is presented.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 25, 2010
Date of Patent: April 2, 2019

  • Patent number: 7427576
Abstract: The invention relates to a glass fiber, especially a continuous glass fiber, exhibiting improved thermal behavior. According to the invention, the glass fiber consists of SiO2 56.0 62.0%, Al2O3 11.0-15.0%, CaO 20.0-24.5%, TiO2 2.0 3.2%, MgO 0.2 0.4%, Na2O 0.05 0.2%, K2O 0 0.25%, Fe2O3 0.11 0.3%, SO3 0.01 0.05%. The retraction value of the fiber is less than 20% at 800° C. and/or less than 80% at 850°. The inventive fiber is produced according to a method wherein the difference between the glass melt liquidus temperature and the fiber formation temperature is the same as or great than 95° C. The fiber can be used as filling material in sound absorbers for waste gases, in the production of shaped bodies and in the production of nets, fabrics or knitted fabrics.
