  • Patent number: 11994131
Abstract: A pump for non-flammable liquids has an improved mounting for the motor which facilitates the relatively quick and easy removal of the motor from the pump. The pump has a main body which is hollow and cylindrical. A motor housing is connected to the main body by threads at a first end and has a removable end cap on its second end. The electric motor is located in said motor housing and secured when the end cap is on the motor housing. An electronics housing has a battery adapter plate, a switch, and a discharge port, and encloses wires and electronics such that the motor pumps the liquid from the end cap, through the motor housing and the main body, and out of the discharge port when the switch is turned on.

  • Publication number: 20240018802
Abstract: A handle assembly for an escape hatch. A handle assembly for an escape hatch comprises an interior handle and an exterior handle. The interior handle has an interior cam associated therewith and the exterior handle has an exterior cam associated therewith. The interior cam and the exterior cam each have a concave profile surface and a curved profile surface. A middle cam is sandwiched between the interior cam and the exterior cam and has a notched profile. The interior and exterior cams are associated with a tumbler having a flag. The middle cam is associated with an output rod operatively coupled to a second flag. Each of the interior handle and the exterior handle can be successively rotated in a first arc of rotation and a second arc of rotation with one hand. The first and second arcs of rotation are respectively associated with the flag and the second flag.

  • Publication number: 20240018813
Abstract: An escape hatch stay system for an aircraft and methods of using the escape hatch stay system. An escape hatch stay system includes a first stop arm, a second stop arm, and a gas strut. The first stop arm is rotatably coupled to the second stop arm, and the second stop arm is pivotably coupled to the gas strut. The first and second stop arms are lockable to preclude relative movement therebetween to lock the escape hatch in an open position. When the escape hatch is in the open position, the escape hatch may not be closed shut without manual intervention. When the escape hatch is in the open position, a load applicable to push the escape hatch open past the open position is damped by the gas strut.

  • Patent number: 11447270
Abstract: A track filler may include an elongated body. The body may include a first sidewall having a first top end and a first bottom end, and formed along a first side of the body, a second sidewall having a second top end and a second bottom end, and formed along a second side of the body, opposite the first sidewall, and a topwall joining the first top end and the second top end. The body may form at least a partially hollow interior portion, and may also include a plurality of periodic notches along the first bottom end of the first sidewall and the second bottom end of the second sidewall and extending toward the first top end and the second top end, respectively. The body may also include a plurality of periodic grooves extending partially through the topwall, wherein each of the grooves extend from a notch at the first top end to a corresponding notch at the second top end.

  • Patent number: 10606869
Abstract: A system and method for event matching by analysis of text characteristics are presented. A document collection comprising documents is acquired. One or more document subsets of the document collection each comprising one or more documents potentially describing identical events are identified based on certain structured metadata fields of the documents. Salient text features are extracted from the documents in the document collection. An event similarity score for pairs of documents in the document collection is generated by comparing the text features extracted from the documents. A common event document list comprising sets of documents in the document collection whose event similarity scores with each other are above a similarity threshold is generated.
