Abstract: An example work machine generally includes a main section, a pair of inner wings, a pair of outer wings, a pair of flippers, a work assembly, a ground interface assembly, and a height control assembly. The flippers are pivotable relative to the outer wings about axes that extend in a direction transverse to the travel direction of the work machine. Each flipper includes at least one corresponding work component and at least one corresponding ground interface mechanism. The height control assembly is operable to adjust heights of the work components relative to a ground surface.

Abstract: A dry gas seal system for rotating equipment operating on a process fluid. The system includes: a dry gas seal for sealing rotating equipment; an axial end face separation seal comprising a primary ring, a mating ring, a sleeve for coupling the mating ring to the shaft of the rotating equipment, and a retainer for the primary ring; and an oleophobic coating disposed at least partially over each of the following surfaces of the separation seal: at an outer peripheral edge of the primary ring distal to, and facing away from, the shaft of the rotating equipment; at an outer peripheral edge of the mating ring distal to, and facing away from, the shaft of the rotating equipment; and both surfaces of the mating ring and primary ring which interface with each other.

Abstract: A seal ring for a radial separation seal includes a first ring segment comprising a male portion and a second ring segment comprising a female portion. The female portion is configured to engage the male portion in the manner of a tongue and groove joint. The joint includes an inner interface at which the first ring segment abuts the second ring segment, the inner interface comprising two inner sealing surfaces; and outer interface at which the first ring segment abuts the second ring segment the outer interface comprising two outer sealing surfaces. The outer interface is radially outward from the inner interface so that when the first ring segment is in an engaged position with the second ring segment so that when a fluid flow provided to the inner interface, fluid pressure from the fluid flow pushes the inner sealing surfaces of the inner interface apart.
