All consumer premise equipment devices are configured to: enable frame-relay fragmentation, prevent actual fragmentation by setting the fragmentation-size parameter to a value greater than the largest packet passing through the network, and a maximum-transfer-unit setting that compensates for the lack of fragmentation.
