  • Publication number: 20230385448
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for processing data may comprise receiving, from a user, a first data set including at least one item of personally identifiable information (“PII”) for a plurality of individuals, wherein the first data set includes information related to an outcome of an algorithm or process; analyzing the received first data set to infer at least one trait of the plurality of individuals; storing a second data set in a data store, wherein the second data set includes the at least one trait, and wherein the second data set does not include the at least one item of PII; analyzing the second data set to determine a fairness of the algorithm or process; and providing a report to the user related to the determined fairness of the algorithm or process.

  • Publication number: 20220398822
Abstract: The present application is at least directed to a system including a processor and non-transitory memory including computer-executable instructions, which when executed by the processor, perform receiving, via a user operating the system, a selection of a mode for recognizing objects. The processor is also configured to execute the instructions of causing a camera operably coupled to the system to operate in the selected mode for recognizing objects. The processor is further configured to execute the instructions of receiving, via the user operating the system, an image of a selected object. The processor is even further configured to execute the instructions of evaluating, via a trained machine learning model, one or more attributes of the selected object. The processor is yet further configured to execute the instructions of generating an image description based on at least a subset of the evaluated one or more attributes.

  • Publication number: 20210276181
Abstract: A dynamic messaging system for factory automation devices that provides flexible data transport, presentation and scheduling. Custom message instructions are provided to robot controllers using configuration templates which are loadable without rebooting the controller or affecting ongoing operations of the robot. The configuration templates contain data definitions only and no executable code. Custom data messages are sent from the robot controller based on triggers, including periodic timers, transmission of a current message, change of device elements and programmatic requests. Custom message attributes such as transmission rate and priority can be set, and messages may include file attachments. A message template creator, external to the robot controller, creates the configuration templates, ensures message uniqueness and generates data ingestion schema.

  • Patent number: 10051462
Abstract: The systems, devices, and methods discussed herein are directed to a network for delivering to portable communication devices, or user equipment (UEs) subscribed to the network, an update for an install service, such as software and firmware, via a hybrid transport mechanism. The hybrid transport mechanism comprises initially broadcasting the update to multiple UEs simultaneously, then re-broadcasting, multicasting, multiple unicasting, and/or transmitting via a wireless local area network (WLAN), the update to a group of UEs that missed the initial broadcast and/or needing file repairs.
