Abstract: A system and method for validating a transaction represented by an electronic document. The method includes: identifying, in the electronic document, at least one key field and at least one value; creating, based on the electronic document, a dataset, wherein the created dataset includes the at least one key field and the at least one value; analyzing the created dataset to determine at least one transaction parameter; creating a template for the transaction, wherein the template is a structured dataset including the determined at least one transaction parameter; and applying, in real-time, at least one rule to the created template to determine whether the transaction is validated.

Abstract: A system and method for verifying enterprise resource planning data. The method includes analyzing, via an optical recognition processor, an unstructured data set; generating, based on the analysis of the unstructured data set, metadata; identifying a report including at least partially structured data corresponding to the unstructured data set; analyzing, based on the metadata, the identified report to determine whether the unstructured data set matches the identified report; and determining that the unstructured data set is verified, when it is determined that the unstructured data set matches the identified report.

Abstract: A system and method for extracting document images from images featuring multiple documents are presented. The method includes receiving a multiple-document image including a plurality of document images, wherein each document image is associated with a document; extracting a plurality of visual identifiers from the multiple-document image, wherein each visual identifier is associated with one of the plurality of document images; analyzing the plurality of visual identifiers to identify each document image; determining, based on the analysis, an image area of each document image; extracting each document image based on its image area.

Abstract: A system and method for consolidating expense records. The method includes receiving, from a first source, a first file including at least one activity identifier; analyzing the first file to identify the at least one activity identifier; retrieving, based on the at least one activity identifier, at least one second file from a second source, wherein the at least one second file corresponds to the first file; comparing the first file to each of the at least one second file to identify a difference; and generating, based on at least one causation rule, at least a metadata respective of the identified difference.

The method comprises receiving at least one image of a VAT receipt from the mobile device; identifying a geographic location of the mobile device; determining whether the mobile device is or was in a foreign country at the time the image was produced; analyzing, by an optical character recognition processor, the at least one image of the VAT receipt; determining whether the VAT receipt is eligible for a VAT refund based on at least one VAT reclaim rule, wherein the at least one VAT reclaim rule determines eligibility based on at least a country of residence of a user of the mobile device, the geographic location of the mobile device, and the analysis of the at least one image; and upon determining that the VAT receipt is eligible for the VAT refund, generating a reclaim request.
