  • Publication number: 20250139575
Abstract: Systems and techniques are provided for providing machine learning-based customized recommendations based on accessible ingredients to for making craft cocktails. For example, a process can include obtaining ingredient inventory information indicative of one or more ingredient items associated with a user and determining, using a trained neural network, one or more candidate recipes based on the ingredient inventory information. Based on determining that a given candidate recipe includes at least one missing ingredient item that is not included in the ingredient inventory information, a recommended substitution can be determined for the missing ingredient item. A plurality of recipe recommendations can be generated, using the trained neural network, based on the one or more candidate recipes and one or more recommended substitutions, wherein the plurality of recipe recommendations includes at least one recipe recommendation that is modified based on the recommended substitution.

  • Publication number: 20240260470
Abstract: A thermoelectric module (TEM) for cooling and power generation applications. The TEM includes a pair of substrates, where one or more of the substrates is a vapor chamber. The TEM further includes a plurality of electrically conductive contacts disposed on opposing faces of the pair of substrates. A plurality of thermoelectric legs interposed between the pair of substrates, each of the plurality of conductive contacts connecting thermoelectric legs to each other in series and wherein each of the thermoelectric legs has a first end connected to one of the conductive contacts of one of the substrates and a second end connected to one of the conductive contacts of the other of the substrates.

  • Publication number: 20230138750
Abstract: A device to protect a user from inhaling hazardous atmospheres including an insulated chamber having inlet and outlet. The chamber includes air heating means and air UV radiating means. The combined operation of the air heating means and the UV radiating means is configured for disinfecting the hazardous atmospheres. A cooling means is used for cooling the disinfected hazardous atmospheres. Wherein, the cooled disinfected hazardous atmosphere is then delivered to the user's breathing system.

  • Publication number: 20180017036
Abstract: A wind energy device (100) utilizes a cone (102) to concentrate the wind. The inside of the cone (102) has rifling (110) which spirals the wind to more effectively hit the rotor blades (112) adjacent the smaller opening (108) of the cone (102). A convex screen (124) deflects objects from the larger opening (104) of the cone (102). The device has a bottom caudal fin (116) to help direct the wind into the larger opening (104) of the cone (102) as the wind changes direction. The cone (102) can have a top fin (118) as well. The device is equally weight balanced on a shaft (120) and pivots on a bearing (122) to help it rotate effortlessly. This pivot enables maximum efficiency of capturing the wind. The cone (102) can be comprised of sections (136) that open up in a strong wind by hinges (134) and a motor or spring at the front (104) of the cone (102). Solar panels (132) can be placed on the cone (102), the rotor housing (114), the generator (126), and the shaft (120) to generate additional electricity.
