Abstract: A sleeve for covering vehicle wheels includes a fabric band having an annular arrangement and therefore with a circumferential path as a result of the annular geometry, the band having such proportions and being enabled to cover and surround an external region of a wheel of a vehicle. The fabric band has a central area along its circumferential path and at least one lateral area adjacent to the central area following the same circumferential path. The at least one adjacent lateral area of the band has a surface density value lower than the surface density value of the central area of the same band. The band also presents a textile or fabric continuity in the mutual contact between its central area and at least one adjacent lateral area, the band being formed in one piece or textile body.

The cover is highly reliable and positionally stable, and has a good mechanical performance with respect to abrasion. The cover includes a band made of textile fabric including cords made of strands that may be of varying thicknesses and the textile ligament may be taffeta.

Abstract: The invention relates to a device for preventing identity thefts, in order to avoid the starting of mechanical apparatus, such as a vehicle (automobile or similar), or the switching-on of electrical, electronic or electro-medical equipment, if the user is not the authorised user or if the physical conditions necessary to guarantee the safety of the user or other people are not met. The device comprises: a first module comprising a mouthpiece for the acquisition of data such as blood alcohol concentrations or exhalation pressure, a second module provided with a central processing unit, and a third module for capturing images of the eye of the user, provided with a microcamera and means for illuminating the eye. The preferred distance between the eye of the user and the microcamera is between 2 cm and 5 cm.
