  • Publication number: 20240063410
Abstract: Systems and methods for operating an electric energy storage device are described. The systems and methods may reduce a voltage potential between a ground reference and terminals of an electric energy storage device. By lowering the voltage potential, a possibility of unintentionally discharging the electrical energy storage device to ground may be reduced.

  • Patent number: 11718985
Abstract: A mortarless block system for forming walls from blocks which are stackable in sequential rows upon each other. Upper rows of blocks positioned upon lower rows are securable by positioning of support rods through aligned passages thereof. The passages extend between upper and lower notches in each respective block. The support rods are engaged to connectors which are sized to fit completely within the notches to thereby leave the upper and lower surfaces of each lower row flush to stacking overhead rows thereon.

  • Patent number: 11660515
Abstract: A hockey puck is formed as two mating subcomponents encapsulating an internal signal transmitter. The hockey puck includes holes extending from an external surface of the hockey puck into an internal void formed between the two mating subcomponents. The internal signal transmitter includes protrusions extending into the holes, each including a surface-mounted diode. The surface-mounted diodes include no lens cap, allowing the diodes to be positioned closer to the external surface of the puck than existing pucks. For improved visibility, the diode is positioned less than 5 mm from the external surface of the puck, but greater than 1 mm from the external surface of the puck, in order to prevent the diodes from being externally visible. Preferably, the diodes are positioned between approximately 2 mm and approximately 3 mm from the external surface of the hockey puck.

  • Publication number: 20050034406
Abstract: A block used for building a structure such as a wall, floor or roof comprises deep recesses in the top and bottom surfaces. A bracket is attached between two blocks by inserting the flanges of the bracket into the deep recesses, thereby creating a central void between the two blocks. The block also comprises protruding portions and recessed portions wherein the protruding portion of one block fits snugly within the recessed portion of an adjacent block.

  • Publication number: 20020180789
Abstract: A method and a system for developing/customizing web-based collaborative applications are provided. The system is a scalable, secure, enterprise class software platform for web and email-based collaborative application. The system provides a platform to develop and customize as well as deploy these applications. The application engine of the system can leverage libraries of pre-existing applications or rapidly build entirely new that allow focusing on the solution to customer needs. A web-based application built employing the system's application engine is a composite of definitions of application components. Browser-based wizards are provided by the application engine of the system to define application component types. The application engine of the system also provides for combining/tying these application component types together.
