The stand includes a base, a vertical adjustment mechanism coupled to the base, a lateral adjustment mechanism coupled to a top portion of the vertical adjustment mechanism, and a pair of adjustable handgrips coupled to the lateral adjustment mechanism. The lateral adjustment mechanism adjusts the lateral position of each handgrip, and the vertical adjustment mechanism adjusts the vertical position of the handgrips. Each of the upright and lateral adjustment mechanisms are secured in respective positions using individual locking pins.
