    Abstract: In an inverter control device having a circuit for controlling the inverter in a pulse-width modulating mode, there are provided a circuit for controlling the inverter in an instantaneous mode, a detector for detecting the operating frequency of the inverter, and a mode transfer switch which selectively connects either one of the outputs of the PWM control circuit and the instantaneous control circuit depending on the operating frequency of the inverter detected by the detector.
