    Abstract: A damper device includes an input-side rotating member, an intermediate rotating member, an output-side rotating member, and an elastic body. The elastic body is located in a clearance in a circumferential direction between each of a plurality of corresponding portions in which a hook portion of the input-side rotating member and a hook portion of the output-side rotating member face each other and the intermediate rotating member. A part of the corresponding portions is a first corresponding portion configured in such a manner that the elastic body is separated from the output-side rotating member and in contact with the input-side rotating member. The remainder of the corresponding portions is a second corresponding portion configured in such a manner that the elastic body is separated from the input-side rotating member and is in contact with the output-side rotating member.

In the torsional vibration damper, a planetary gear is oscillated within a first oscillating range when a torsional torque is smaller than a reference torque, and within a second oscillating range when the torsional torque is greater than the reference torque. Each backlash between the pinion gear and at least one of a sun gear and a ring gear within the second oscillating range is individually wider than each backlash between the pinion gear and the sun gear and each backlash between the pinion gear and the ring gear within the first oscillating range.
