  • Publication number: 20080200759
Abstract: In a case where a balloon is broken and a body fluid reversely flows into a feed/discharge tube during a suction operation of a balloon control apparatus, a pump is stopped by operation-canceling section after passing of a preset predetermined time, and the suction operation of sucking the fluid into a bottle is canceled. Thereby, the amount of recovered liquid in the bottle is limited within a predetermined capacity. Thus, even in the case where the body fluid reversely flows into the feed/discharge tube, the body fluid does not overflow from the bottle, and the body liquid can properly recovered in the bottle.

  • Patent number: 6307332
Abstract: A light source having a lamp for generating light generates a lamp on signal at an output terminal thereof when the lamp is lit. A lamp life meter is connected to the light source for detecting the time that the lamp has been lit. The lamp life meter includes a housing having at least one contact terminal adapted to be coupled to the output terminal of the light source, a clock generator located in the housing and generating clock signals, a counter located in the housing and counting the clock signals whenever the clock on signal indicates that the lamp is on and a display mounted in the housing for displaying an indication of the time the lamp has been turned on.

  • Patent number: 5196928
Abstract: An endoscope system comprises first and second endoscopes each of which includes an elongated insertion tube and an imaging device, a light source for supplying illumination light to the endoscopes, a function for processing a signal originating from one of the imaging devices, and a video processor which mixes the signal with at least a signal sent from an external input terminal and outputs a given video signal corresponding to the first and second endoscopic images. The video signal provided by the video processor is output to a shared monitor, thus displaying two endoscopic images simultaneously.
