  • Patent number: 6851328
Abstract: A transmission control apparatus includes transmission lines disposed between a pair of transmission shafts and a hydraulic multiple disc transmission clutch disposed on one side of the transmission lines. Power from an engine is transmitted via one of the transmission lines to a traveling unit. Each of the transmission lines has a friction clutch. A first gear mechanism operated by a first actuator is disposed between one of the transmission shafts and the first transmission line. A second gear mechanism operated by a second actuator is disposed between one of the transmission shafts and the second transmission line. When the first transmission line is powered, a first system operates the second gear mechanism into a speed position; the first clutch to a non-transmitting state and the second clutch to a transmitting state, thereby providing a progressive shifting of the transmission clutch from a transmitting state to a semi-transmitting state.

  • Patent number: 6675925
Abstract: A steering apparatus for a working vehicle is provided which is capable of steering dirigible wheels by increased steering angles while checking sideways sliding of the wheels on the ground. For this purpose, a pair of right and left intermediate cases are supported by right and left wheel supports of a vehicle body, each to be pivotable about a first steering axis extending substantially vertically. Each intermediate case supports an axle case in a position thereof opposed to the associated dirigible wheel, to be pivotable about a second steering axis extending substantially vertically. The axle case supports the associated dirigible wheel to be rotatable on an axle.

  • Patent number: 6026686
Abstract: An article inspection apparatus is capable of inspecting an article which cannot be sorted out by image processing or a diagnostic process that employs energy to be transmitted through the article. A hitting sound is generated by a hitting sound generating device when an article is hit, and is detected by a sound detecting device and analyzed by a detected-sound analyzer. The analyzed result is converted into a pattern by a detected-sound pattern generator, and the pattern is matched with registered reference patterns from a reference pattern registering device by a pattern matching device. Based on the result of matching, the article is sorted out by an article sorting device. It is possible to detect the material of a container, such as cans of aluminum and iron which are identical in shape and size to each other. It is also possible to check the amount of a substance in a container that cannot directly be seen, or inspect baked articles for pores contained therein.

  • Patent number: 5479436
Abstract: A metal material such as scraps of metal is directly heated by electromagnetic induction, and the resulting molten metal is fed to a heatup zone where the molten metal is further heated to a required temperature. More specifically, the metal material to be melted, which has been charged into a heat and melt zone, is preheated and melted by an induction coil, and the molten metal is passed via a connection portion to the heatup zone, and is stored there. The thus accumulated molten metal is further heated by an induction coil to a necessary temperature. The molten metal is taken out of the furnace by opening a tap hole when this is desired. Various kinds of gases can be selectively introduced into the apparatus via an gas inlet. By keeping the tap hole in an open condition, the molten metal can be continuously taken out of the furnace. With the induction heating method which has heretofore enabled only an intermittent melting operation, the metal material can be continuously melted and taken out.

  • Patent number: 4650242
Abstract: A tractor cabin having a pair of right and left front struts, a pair of right and left rear struts, a pair of right and left intermediate struts disposed between the front and rear struts, a top frame interconnecting upper ends of the front, rear and intermediate struts, a floor sheet attached to lower ends of the front, rear and intermediate struts, and a gate-shaped cabin front defined by the front struts and the top frame. The cabin comprises a gate-shaped partition assembly disposed at a lower mid-position transversely of the cabin front, connecting members connecting right and left lower ends of the partition assembly to lower ends of the right and left front struts, and a transparent member secured to inner peripheries of the cabin front, the transparent member including side transparent portions extending downwardly therefrom.
