  • Patent number: 10569579
Abstract: A recording-head position adjustment mechanism includes a beam to suspend a recording head that discharges droplets so that the recording head is drawable out in a predetermined direction; a first supporter disposed at one end of the beam in the predetermined direction and having a support shaft to support the beam; a second supporter disposed at another end of the beam in the predetermined direction with the beam interposed between the first supporter and the second supporter. The second supporter is attached with an adjuster via which the second supporter supports the beam. The adjuster includes a coarse-adjustment shaft member and a fine-adjustment shaft member that are manually rotatable independent of each other. The coarse-adjustment shaft member coarsely adjusts a rotation angle of the beam at which the beam rotates around the support shaft by manual rotation. • Patent number: 9568758
Abstract: A display apparatus according to the present invention has a gasket attached in a space between a flexible print cable on which an electrically insulating coating is formed, the flexible print cable connecting the circuit board of a display panel and a connecting substrate connected to an external electric device, and a frame supporting a display unit including the display panel, the connecting substrate, and the flexible print cable. The gasket is provided with a core portion made of non-metal and having elasticity, and a surface portion made of metal disposed on a periphery of the core portion. By this means, unnecessary radiation noise generated from the flexible print cable connecting the display panel to the external electric device is effectively shielded without machining the display panel.

  • Patent number: 7692616
Abstract: A liquid crystal display apparatus includes a liquid crystal panel having a matrix of pixels, a control circuit, and a temperature sensor. The temperature sensor directly or indirectly detects a temperature of the liquid crystal panel. The control circuit reverses a polarity of a voltage applied to each pixel at a time interval variable with the detected temperature, while keeping a field frequency constant. The time interval is a positive integer multiple of the reciprocal of a field frequency, i.e., a positive integer multiple of a field period. When the temperature of the liquid crystal layer is low, the control circuit reverses the polarity of the voltage at a longer time interval. In contrast, when the temperature of the liquid crystal layer is high, the control circuit reverses the polarity of the voltage at a shorter time interval.

  • Patent number: 7486175
Abstract: A display unit displays supplied image information on or through a front glass of a vehicle. A system controller generates and supplies the image information to the display unit. The image information indicates lane guides of the traveling lane, which correspond to a configuration of a traveling lane that is viewed from a view point position of a driver through the front glass. The system controller sets a display color of the lane guides displayed by the display unit to a color, which is distinguishable from a color of a road surface.

  • Patent number: 7184117
Abstract: A circuit board area is formed on a front glass substrate of a liquid crystal display (LCD) panel, and driver ICs are mounted in the circuit board section. The driver ICs are electrically connected to an external display control device via a flexible printed circuit board (FPC). A metal foil is attached to one side of the FPC for shielding unnecessary radiating noises. The metal foil has connecting flap portions and the flap portions are fixed to an outer case of a backlight unit with a metal foil tape. The metal foil tape is also bonded to an external frame of an LCD device. As a result, the metal foil is electrically connected with the external frame and the radiating noises are effectively reduced.
