  • Publication number: 20060151106
Abstract: A laminate is produced from a film of a liquid crystal polymer forming an optically anisotropic molten phase and a metal foil by thermocompression bonding of a pile of the two between pressing rolls and the method comprises using a metal roll coated with a resin such as fluororubber and polyimide to a thickness of 0.02-5 mm as at least one of the pressing rolls or piling a heat-resistant film on the surface of a pile of polymer film and metal foil contacting a metal pressing roll and passing the resulting pile between metal pressing rolls. The method is capable of producing a laminate of good heat resistance from a liquid crystal polymer film and a metal foil with sufficient adhesion between the two at high productivity.

  • Patent number: 5916688
Abstract: This invention relates to resin solution compositions for electronic materials consisting of organic solutions of 100 parts by weight of siloxanepolyimidepolyamic acid copolymers composed of imide segments formed by polycondensation of aromatic tetracarboxylic acid dianhydrides and siloxanediamines and amic acid segments formed by polyaddition of aromatic tetracarboxylic acid dianhydrides and aromatic diamines other than siloxanediamines and represented by the following general formula (1) (in which X is the residue of an aromatic tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride, Y is the residue of a siloxanediamine, Z is the residue of an aromatic diamine, l and m are integers independent of each other, and n is an integer of 1 or more) and 1 to 50 parts by weight of epoxy resins. The compositions are storage-stable and curable at relatively low temperature and yield cured products with an excellent balance of heat resistance, high-frequency characteristics, chemical resistance and stress relaxation characteristics.

  • Patent number: 5601905
Abstract: A laminate comprising at least two layers of a photosensitive resin layer and a polyimide precursor resin layer; a process for formation of an insulating protective layer using a laminate which comprises laminating a laminate comprising at least photosensitive resin layer and a polyimide precursor resin layer on an insulating board having an exposed circuit; selectively exposing the photosensitive resin layer to active light; developing the resultant photosensitive resin layer; removing the exposed polyimide precursor resin layer by etching it with an alkaline solution using the photosensitive resin layer as a mask; removing the photosensitive resin layer; and then curing the residual polyimide precusor resin layer; and a process for preparation of a printed circuit which comprises forming a polymide precursor resin layer on an insulating board having an exposed circuit, patterning the resin layer with an alkaline solution, and then curing it.

  • Patent number: 5176353
Abstract: Movable and stationary rails are of complementary cross sections, the movable rail being generally C-shaped with grooved side wall portions, the stationary rail having an elongate flat upper plate whose side edge portions constitute guide edge portions. The side edge portions of the stationary rail are spacedly received in the grooved side wall portions of the movable rail. Metal rollers are disposed between major flat portions of the movable and stationary rails. A plastic slider is secured to each of the guide edge portions and so shaped as to be neatly and slidably received in the corresponding grooved side wall portion of the movable rail. The plastic slider has an opening through which an outside edge wall of the guide edge portion is exposed. A metal ball is rotatably received in the opening in such a manner that diametrically opposed ends thereof are contactable with the outside edge wall and an inner surface of the corresponding grooved side wall.

  • Patent number: 5011209
Abstract: Disclosed herein is an arrangement in a motor vehicle having a floor and a seat. The arrangement comprises a first structure which defines a groove by the vehicle floor; a seat sliding device which comprises two units each including a stationary rail, a movable rail slidably interlocked with the stationary rail and rollers and balls for smoothing the movement of the movable rail relative to the stationary rail, one unit of the seat sliding device being tightly received in the groove having a given part of the movable rail projected upward from the groove; a rug spread on the vehicle floor in a manner to cover the groove, the rub having an elongate slit through which the given part of the movable rail is projected upward; and a second structure for connecting the given part to the seat.

  • Patent number: 4901421
Abstract: Herein disclosed is a method of assembling a seat slide device which comprises a lower rail, an upper rail slidably disposed on the lower rail and rotating members disposed between the lower and upper rails. The method comprises by steps: (a) temporarily assembling the lower and upper rails; (b) disposing the rotating members between a space defined between the temporarily assembled lower and upper rails; (c) pressing the temporarily assembled lower and upper rails against each other with a given pressing force; (d) making a relative longitudinal movement between the temporarily assembled lower and upper rails with the pressing force kept applied thereto; and (e) removing the pressing force when the relative longitudinal movement counts a given number.
