  • Patent number: 10196610
Abstract: The invention provides an animal cell culture kit to be used favorably for culturing animal cells, a method for culturing animal cells, a method for culturing selectively animal cells, and a method for differentiating a cell. An animal cell culture kit according to the invention includes an incubator containing one or more types of functional groups selected from the group consisting of hydrophilic functional groups and hydrophobic functional groups at predetermined contents on a surface, and a serum-free culture medium. Since the animal cell culture kit includes an incubator having a functional group suitable for adhesion and proliferation of specific animal cells, proliferation of animal cells can be promoted even with a serum-free culture medium.

  • Patent number: 5179882
Abstract: A waste removing apparatus is used in a punching machine for manufacturing a carton and removes a waste region of a sheet inserted between a movable die and a fixed die by cutting the sheet along a punching line formed thereon. Two molded plates are provided on the movable die and the fixed die, respectively so as to sandwich a product region of the sheet therebetween. The molded plates have areas slightly smaller than the area of the product region to reliably separate the waste region of a sheet from the product region thereof, even though the sheet is thin and, as such, flexible.

  • Patent number: 4450581
Abstract: A convenience container with a cornered bottom is comprised of an outer shell and a pouch sealed to the inside of the outer shell for containing a liquid. The outer shell is provided with fold lines and with a scored line for forming a mouth opening. The outer shell is pressed inwardly along these fold lines, and the top marginal portion of the outer shell is cut off along the scored line, to thereby easily form an opening to serve as a dispensing mouth.

  • Patent number: 4391366
Abstract: A foldable cup comprising a collapsed flat tubular outer shell made of a hard material and having open opposite ends and a collapsed flat pouch made of a flexible material and fixedly inserted within the outer shell. This flat foldable cup can be expanded, when the outer shell is opened, without developing crumpled portions in the bottom walls of the pouch and the outer shell.

  • Patent number: 4310918
Abstract: A tone arm, designed for use with a semi- or fully automatic record player, is provided with an electromagnetic drive mechanism. The tone arm is supported by two separate shafts so as to be rotatable in both the horizontal and vertical directions. A bobbin, to which horizontal and vertical drive coils are circumferentially attached, is arranged coaxially with that shaft permitting horizontal movement. A permanent magnet is arranged facing the drive coils. Interaction between the permanent magnetic field and those generated by energization of the drive coils causes either a torque or a vertical force to be imparted to the bobbin and thus effect a corresponding movement of the tone arm.

  • Patent number: 4284205
Abstract: A foldable cup comprises a hollow cylindrical outer shell and a pouch inserted in said outer shell and secured thereto. The outer shell is provided, between its upper and bottom edges, with a plurality of substantially vertical folding lines including two vertical folding lines parallel with each other. By folding outwardly the assembly of the outer shell and the pouch along the two parallel folding lines, the assembly can be folded into a generally flat configuration, whereas by folding the assembly forwardly along all of the folding lines, the assembly can be expanded into a cubic configuration.
