Abstract: A control system including a control device, which is connected to a power storage device capable of supplying power to one or more electric apparatuses, and a server, by which reduction in a communication load and appropriate charge/discharge control are both achieved, is provided. When acquiring weather information from a server, a control device, on the basis of the weather information, charge to the power storage device and power supply from the power storage device to the electric apparatus. The control device decides a period from timing at which the weather information is acquired to timing at which weather information is next acquired. At second timing at which the period has elapsed from first timing at which the weather information has been acquired, the control device repeats an operation from acquisition of weather information to decision of a period after which weather information is next acquired from the server.

Abstract: The present invention aims to provide a method by which a user recognizes that firmware of a control device related to a remote monitoring system is being updated. In a remote monitoring system including a mobile terminal operated by a user, a server that communicates with the mobile terminal, and the control device that communicates with the server, the mobile terminal communicates with the control device through the server, and the server knows start and completion of an update of firmware of the control device by communicating with the control device. In a case where an operating instruction to the control device is issued from the mobile terminal while the firmware of the control device is being updated, the server notifies the mobile terminal that the firmware of the control device is being updated.

Abstract: An image display device (100A) includes: an icon display section (131) displaying a list of folder icons indicative of the folders, in an icon display area; and a preview slide show executing section (133) displaying a slide show of files stored in a folder, in a preview display area in a screen where the icon display area is present, the folder corresponding to a folder icon selected from among the folder icons displayed by the icon display means (131) in the list in the icon display area. This allows a user to easily make an operation for browsing a file or the like, concurrently with viewing a large preview screen.
