  • Patent number: 6333588
Abstract: A piezoelectric transformer-accommodating case (1) is an insulated flat and rectangular box having two input terminals (3) and two output terminals (4) for connection with input electrodes and output electrodes of the transformer (45). The input terminals are respectively at transverse opposite end walls of the case (1), and a lead (21) connecting the input terminals to each other is held in a groove (11) that is longitudinally formed in the case and along its lateral wall so as not to contact any wall of the groove. Support lugs (12) are formed integral with a rim surrounding the opening of the case and shaped such as to bear against a circuit board (46) in a manner that the case set in place is lifted out of the board. An engagement protrusion (13) and a guide protrusion (14) are formed integral with the transverse end wall and fitted in a base connector (30) that thus mates with the case and connects wires to the case.

  • Patent number: 6280206
Abstract: A high-voltage connector consists of a male assembly (1) that mates a female assembly (2) having an insulating housing (3) and pin contacts (4). Each pin contact has a pin body (15) parallel to an axis of the housing and facing its opening, a lead (17,18) continuing from the body and an exposed portion (19) to be soldered to a printed circuit board. The leads are bent sideways in opposite directions to make the soldered portions more spaced than the pin bodies. The male assembly has a partition (7) in the housing and intermediate the pin bodies, its free end located close to the opening. The female assembly has a housing (21) and socket contacts (22) secured on wire ends, this housing inserted into the first housing (3) causes the socket contacts to fit on the pin bodies.

  • Patent number: 6261131
Abstract: A high-voltage connector consists of a base connector mating a socket connector. The base connector (10) has: an insulated housing (11), input and output pin contacts (12,13), and a partition (16) dividing the housing into compartments (18,19) to accommodate the pin contacts. The pin contacts respectively consists of front portions (12a,13a) protruding into the housing's front opening (14) and rear portions (12b,13b) isolated by a middle rear extension (17) of the housing. The socket connector (30) has: a bifurcated housing (31), and a pair of socket contacts (32,33) held in this housing and securable on wire ends. The second housing is insertable into the front opening, causing the socket contacts to fit on the front portions. A recess (34) formed in the second housing is fittable on the partition, and two cylindrical chambers (35,36) formed in the housing (31) accommodate the socket contacts isolated and each lying on one side.
