  • Publication number: 20040197726
Abstract: A clip type anchor for orthodontic treatment comprises piercing portions for piercing a skin and fitting a bone, and a connection portion connecting the piercing portions to each other. The connection portion biases the piercing portions toward the bone. A connection portion is substantially U-like shaped, and piercing portions fit an inside and an outside of an alveolar bone, thereby fixing the anchor to the alveolar bone. In an anchor comprising piercing portions for piercing a skin and fitting a bone, and a connection portion connecting the piercing portions to each other, the connection portion biases the piercing portions so as to either increase or decrease a distance between the piercing portions.

  • Patent number: 6102823
Abstract: A power transmission belt having a center belt with a length, an inside surface, and an outside surface. Upper and lower blocks are provided and each has a leading face, a trailing face, and laterally oppositely facing pulley-engaging side surfaces. The upper and lower blocks are connected to each other to maintain the upper block, lower block and center belt together in an operative relationship without penetrating the center belt. At least one of the pulley-engaging side surfaces on at least one of the upper and lower blocks is uninterrupted between the leading and trailing faces on the one of the upper and lower blocks so that the at least one side surface can engage a cooperating pulley surface along an uninterrupted line between the leading and trailing faces of the at least one side surface.

  • Patent number: 5067419
Abstract: A low-NOx boiler comprises a burner for burning gaseous fuel, heat transfer pipes heating water by combustion heat of the burner to generate steam and having a passage through which water flows, a steam drum communicating with the heat transfer pipe and accumulating the steam from the heat transfer pipe, and an exhaust gas duct located in the furnace to exhaust combustion gas generated by combustion of gaseous fuel outside of the boiler. The boiler further comprises unburnt gas burner in the exhaust gas duct for burning unburnt content in the combustion gas flowing in the duct. The unburnt gas burner includes a nozzle for injecting premixture flow of fuel and combustion air and flame holding plate located near the downstream side of the outlet of the nozzle to interrupt the premixture flow to form a circulating flow on downstream side of the flame holding plate. As gaseous fuel and air are mixed in advance and a flame is formed, the flame length can be shortened.
