  • Publication number: 20090175053
Abstract: A connection terminal 39 includes a clip piece 73 and a fixed piece 71 facing each other in the vertical direction, the interval between a claw 74A and a claw 74B provided on the tips of the respective pieces is slightly smaller than the thickness of a flexible printed board 48. Therefore, when the flexible printed board 48 is inserted into a board insert port 68, the flexible printed board 48 is sandwiched and held by the claws 74A and 74B. The flexible printed board 48 is thus temporarily held in the state in which it is inserted in the connector. A projection 77 is projectedly provided on an end of an operation lever 46, and the flexible printed board 48 is provided with a cutout 79 into which the projection 77 is fitted. As a result, after the operation lever 46 is tilted horizontally to fit the projection 77 into the cutout 79, the flexible printed board 48 will not come out of the board insert port 68.

  • Publication number: 20080273352
Abstract: A protecting sheet 112 having a transparent rubber-like resin 113 formed on a transparent board 114 is interposed between a light emitting plane 123 of a light guiding plate 111 and a surface, at which prisms 116 are formed, of a prism sheet 115 in such a manner that the transparent rubber-like resin 113 is brought into contact with vertexes of the prisms 116. The transparent rubber-like resin 113 holds the prism sheet without any deformation without any application of external force, thus preventing any occurrence of an optical close contact between the prism sheet 115 and the protecting sheet 112. In contrast, the transparent rubber-like resin 113 is deformed with the application of the external force, thus preventing any breakage of the prism 116.

  • Patent number: 7371000
Abstract: A light emission part in the form of a point light source composed of LED, etc., and a light conductive plate, and the light emission part is arranged in opposition to a light incident surface of the light conductive plate. First diffusion patterns and second diffusion patterns are provided alternately on the light incident surface. The first diffusion patterns comprise a V-groove provided on an inner surface of a rectangular-shaped recess provided concavely on the light incident surface. The second diffusion patterns comprise a V-groove provided on the light incident surface. When a virtual line segment in parallel to a line segment drawn from the light emission part to a corner of the surface light emission region of the light conductive plate is drawn from an end of the recess, the V-groove and the second diffusion patterns are provided not to get over the virtual line segment.

  • Patent number: 7121709
Abstract: A point-light-source type light emitting portion faces a light incident face located at a corner portion of a light guide plate. A light diffusion pattern for emitting the light in the light guide plate from a light emission face is on the lower surface of the light guide plate. A diffusion prism sheet is on the light emission face. A prism sheet including prisms each having a concentric shape with the light emitting portion at the center is on the lower surface of the diffusion prism sheet, and an uneven diffusion plate is on the upper surface of the diffusion prism sheet. Light emitted from the light emission face of the light guide plate along the light emission face is deflected in the direction perpendicular to the light guide plate by the prism sheet, and the angle of beam spread of the light is spread by the uneven diffusion plate.

  • Publication number: 20030058381
Abstract: The invention improves contrast in a reflection type liquid crystal display device. In this reflection type liquid crystal display device, an optical pattern arranged in a light guide plate and formed in a V-groove shape in section is inclined with respect to the advancing direction of light within the light guide plate when this optical pattern is seen from a direction perpendicular to the light guide plate. Thus, light reflected on the optical pattern is reflected toward the back face side in a slanting direction.
