  • Patent number: 8135646
Abstract: A content transmission apparatus is disclosed which promotes distribution of contents over a network and thereby affords better convenience to those who wish to sell and buy the contents. The apparatus is implemented typically as a video camera provided beforehand with an access account from a server apparatus. The content transmission apparatus is equipped with abilities to encode contents in a streaming format for upload and to connect communicably with the server receiving what is uploaded. These features allow the user of the content transmission apparatus easily to upload the content generated thereby to the server without going through complicated steps to sign up with an ISP; to prepare a personal computer, a modem and other hardware; or to make elaborate settings and establish connection with the server. Therefore, uploading of contents is promoted. The server apparatus presents uploaded contents illustratively at its website to solicit potential buyers extensively for the presented contents.

  • Publication number: 20040095474
Abstract: An imaging apparatus selects a particular scene to be shot from an imaging template in which the arrangement of scenes of content is indicated by image materials selected from among moving image materials and/or still image materials recorded on a recording medium. When the shooting is performed in this state, an image material generated by the shooting is managed in association with the selected scene. The content is completed by replacing the image material constituting each of the scenes in the imaging template with another image material, such as the image material generated by the shooting.

  • Patent number: 5995142
Abstract: An imaging device includes an imaging device for converting an image into a plurality of color signals each having a signal level; a white balance amplifier for adjusting the signal level of at least one color signal to produce a plurality of amplified color signals; a calibration device for calibrating the white balance amplifier and for producing at least one calibration parameter; a detecting device for detecting the amplified color signals; a calculation device for calculating at least one white balance amplification adjustment as a function of the plurality of amplified color signals; a comparing device for comparing at least one white balance amplification adjustment with at least one calibration parameter; and an automatic adjustment device for automatically adjusting the white balance amplifier to amplify the signal level of at least one of the plurality of color signals if at least one white balance amplification adjustment is consistent with at least one calibration parameter.
