  • Publication number: 20190019910
Abstract: A provided cover glass for a solar cell panel has excellent transparency, and minimal incidence so-called “glass surface turbidity” due to reactions with components contained in a glass substrate. The cover glass for the solar cell panel comprises: the glass substrate including a surface; and a transparent protective film containing zinc telluride for coating the surface. Particularly, in the cover glass for the solar cell panel, the transparent protective film is preferably formed by bonding the zinc telluride with silica binders. Such a transparent protective film has excellent transparency, and reactions of the contained zinc telluride inhibit the surface of the glass substrate, which is a base of the solar cell, from becoming turbid.

  • Patent number: 7192268
Abstract: An injection molding apparatus includes an injection piston that is slidable within a nozzle having a movable valve gate pin. The injection piston is movable from a retracted position to an extended position in order to force melt towards a mold cavity. A valve is located at a forward end of the piston to selectively block communication between a recess, which is provided in an outer wall of the piston adjacent the valve, and a melt chamber of the nozzle. Movement of the injection piston from the retracted position to the extended position causes the valve to close so that the predetermined volume of melt located below the valve is forced into the mold cavity, when the valve gate pin opens the mold gate.

  • Patent number: 5226596
Abstract: The heat of a heater sheath wire is both the heat that is directly transmitted to a heated nozzle main body, and the heat that is indirectly transmitted to the heated nozzle main body via a metal strip and both provide the effect of efficiently heating the heated nozzle main body and producing a significant increase in the performance. The heated nozzle for plastic injection molding according to the present invention is configured so as to have a spiral-shaped groove on its outer periphery, the heater sheath wire that is pressed into the spiral-shaped groove and the metal strip that is wound around the surface of the outer periphery of the heated nozzle main body and is welded to the heated nozzle main body.

  • Patent number: 3980513
Abstract: A composite structure is prepared by extruding a molten thermoplastic resin and foaming agent through a die and simultaneously quenching and taking-up the extrudate under such conditions that the extrudate is fibrillated just as it leaves the die exit without passing through the foamed state. The unopened, sheet-formed and reticulated fibrous structures thus obtained are laminated, pulled apart and pressed. The composite product consists of a fine and uniform fibrillar structure having superior mechanical strength and pliability and are useful for a wide range of applications such as paper substitute, artificial wood veneer and the like. Colored products are also described.

  • Patent number: 3954928
Abstract: A process for the preparation of unopened sheet-formed and reticulated fibrous structures, which comprises:A. extruding a molten thermoplastic resin containing a foaming substance through a die with a slit clearance of 0.1 - 1.0mm;B. quenching the extrudate at a point less than 5mm away from the die surface to a temperature below the glass transition temperature of the resin; andC. simultaneously drafting the extrudate at a draft ratio between the maximum draft ratio possible under the conditions and one-third thereof, thereby fibrillating the extrudate just as it leaves the die exit.
