  • Patent number: 9810094
Abstract: The invention offers a steam turbine forced air cooling system, its method, and a steam turbine provided with the system, the system being of an inexpensive and simple device configuration and improving a cooling effect by the use of an easy-to-get device. Suction is applied to the steam introduction side of an HP turbine 4 or an IP turbine 9 by the use of cooling air suction ejectors 27, 28 which use a compressed medium other than steam as a drive source. The cooling air is then introduced from the steam exhaust portion of the steam turbine into the inside of the steam turbine and is discharged from the ejectors 27, 28 to the atmosphere.

  • Patent number: 6912252
Abstract: Data is transmitted certainly even if some trouble happens on one of the communicating lines and masking effect of the information is enhanced. In the case that data including A, B and C stored in a device at a place transmits to another device 20 located at a different place, communicating lines including at least three lines are connected and divided data portions AB, BC and CA are transmitted through the communicating lines, respectively.

  • Publication number: 20050102126
Abstract: A simulation-verification personal computer comprises a control device simulating simulator personal computer, and a plant model simulator personal computer. The control device simulating simulator personal computer is loaded with a control logic incorporated into a control device. The plant model simulator person computer is loaded with a plant model logic. Upon receipt of an operation command signal, the control logic sends a control command signal, for controlling the run of a plant, to the plant model logic. Upon receipt of the control command signal, the plant model logic performs a simulated action showing the action status of the plant, and outputs a run status signal showing the action status. Both the control logic and the plant model logic use Linux as their OS, and thus can work simultaneously on the personal computers.

  • Patent number: 6721631
Abstract: The state of combustion oscillation in the combustor of a turbine of a power plant is monitored from a remote monitoring center. To monitor the combustion oscillation state, combustion oscillation data on the combustor is separated into two types of data: the first data obtained on a real-time basis, and the second data including representative values within a predetermined period of time obtained from the first data. In the normal state, a low-speed communications mode is used to send the second data, which is monitored at the monitoring center. If an abnormal state is predicted as a result of monitoring the second data, the high-speed communications mode is used to send the first data, and more detailed combustion oscillation data is monitored at the monitoring center. When a critical state is predicted, an instruction is sent to the local site to switch the operation mode over to the low load operation mode.

  • Patent number: 6580433
Abstract: The objective of this invention is to provide an automatic reverse method for reversing and displaying the black-white image into the white-black image under the predetermined condition, and a printer unit using the same method, specially a printer unit used in a plant operation. According to this invention, it would allow the printing operation to be accomplished merely by actuating a print button on operation device 10. The judgment of whether to reverse the black-and-white components, which was the responsibility of the operator in the prior art design, would be made automatically, and the human errors would be eliminated. The proportion of the black monochrome portion among the received black-and-white entire monochrome image. It displays either the received black-and-white monochrome image without any reversal if the proportion does not exceed a given value, or the reversed white-and-black monochrome image if the proportion exceeds the given value.

  • Publication number: 20030014219
Abstract: The present invention is characterized in that the state of combustion oscillation in the combustor of a turbine of a plant such as a power plant is monitored from a remote monitoring center. To monitor combustion oscillation state, combustion oscillation data on the combustor is separated into two types of data; (1) the first data obtained on a real-time basis, and (2) the second data consisting of representative values within a predetermined period of time obtained from the first data. In the normal state, a low-speed communications mode is used to send the second data, which is monitored at the monitoring center. If an abnormal state is predicted as a result of monitoring the second data, the high-speed communications mode is used to send the first data, and more detailed combustion oscillation data is monitored at-the monitoring center. When a critical state is predicted, an instruction is sent to the local site to switch the operation mode over to the low load operation mode, whenever required.

  • Publication number: 20010038715
Abstract: A purpose of the present invention is to provide a high level compression system so as to improve a data transmitting efficiency. In the case of transmitting data in which a characteristic curve is very important to a remote site, a predetermined number of the above data are collected at a transmitting site 100 so as to dummy-picture the data (S2). The dummy pictured data is highly compressed by a picture compression treatment (S3). The compressed dummy-pictured data is transmitted to the receiving site 200. At the receiving site 200, the received compressed dummy pictured data is recovered to the dummy pictured data (T1). The dummy pictured data is divided into the predetermined number of the parts so that original data can be reproduced.
