  • Publication number: 20110098579
Abstract: There is provided a blood-pressure sensor system wherein a blood-pressure sensor including a plurality of structures which induces surface plasmon resonance on a light-receiving plane of a photoelectric conversion element is attached to an outer wall of a blood vessel, in which if the blood-pressure sensor is deformed according to expansion or contraction of the blood vessel, an interval of layout of the structure is changed (widened or narrowed), so that an incident form of light with respect to the structures is changed to cause the output from the photoelectric conversion element to be changed. The output is measured as an open circuit voltage, and index calculation is performed, so that a blood pressure value is measured.

  • Patent number: 7248908
Abstract: A fluorescence indicator is injected into a living body from a container via an injecting inlet to be chemically reacted with a substance in the living body. Then, an excitation light is irradiated to the living body from an excitation light source. Then, the thus obtained reflected light is reflected multiply at an reflective film formed on the inner wall of the container, and introduced into a detecting section, where a fluorescence response originated from the chemical bond between the substance and the fluorescence indicator and contained in the reflected light is detected.
