    Abstract: The present invention is a method for producing a resin-molded body for a hollow structure having a cavity and an opening connecting the cavity and the outside. The method includes the steps of: creating a hollow core corresponding to the shape of the cavity; creating an outer mold corresponding to the external shape of the hollow structure; setting the core in the outer mold and injecting a fluid of a soft-resin material into the space between the outer mold and the core; demolding a soft-resin-molded body together with the core from the outer mold after the soft-resin-molded body is formed by curing the soft-resin material, applying an external force to the soft-resin-molded body to deform the soft-resin-molded body so as to break the core into fragments; and discharging the fragments of the core through the opening of the soft-resin-molded body to the outside.

    Abstract: A method of producing a lamp having a coated layer and of a type in which linear tubes in parallel are interconnected, comprises the steps of forming a connected glass tube by making an airtight connection via connecting portions between side walls of a plural number of glass tubes having openings at both ends and main portions that are linear and arranged parallel to each other; of forming a coated layer on the inner wall surface of the connected tube including the connecting portions by introducing a coated substance from opening end portions of the connected glass tube; and of forming an airtight path as a discharge path in the connected tube including the main and connecting portions by sealing the opening end portions on a side of the connecting portions of the connected tube after the formation of the coated layer.

    Abstract: A feeding apparatus has an extracting chuck for extracting one lead wire from a case storing a number of lead wires. The chuck throws the lead wire into a fixed guide chute extending vertically. A movable guide chute for guiding the lead wire dropped from the fixing guide chute to a feeding chuck is disposed below the fixed guide chute to be movable between an upper position where the movable guide chute receives the lead wire dropped from the fixed guide chute and a lower position where an outlet port of the movable guide chute is located close to the feeding chuck. When the movable guide chute is in the upper position, a magnet holds the lead wire in the movable guide chute, and when the movable guide chute is moved to the lower position, the magnet releases its hold of the lead wire, thereby feeding the lead wire to the feeding chuck.

    Abstract: A manufacturing apparatus includes an endless chain traveling along a prescribed path. A plurality of holding chucks for clamping a stem tube or bulb are fitted to the chain and moved along the path. A mount-making unit is arranged near the path and seal a pair of leads to the stem tube held by the chuck to make a mount. A sealing unit is arranged near the path. The unit takes up the mount from the chuck passed the mount-making unit and then seals the mount in the bulb held by the chuck. An evacuating unit is arranged near the path. The unit evacuates the bulb held by the chuck which is passed the sealing unit, introduces an inert gas into the bulb, and then seals the bulb.

    Abstract: An apparatus for manufacturing a bulb comprising a mount head including first and second pairs of lead-in wire holes alternately formed in a straight line, a first support mechanism capable of fixing in place lead-in wires inserted in the first pair of lead-in wire holes, and a second support mechanism capable of fixing in place lead-in wires inserted in the second pair of lead-in wire holes, a support mechanism for removably supporting the mount head in a predetermined position, an air cylinder for selectively driving the first and second mechanisms to fix the lead-in wires to predetermined positions relative to the mount head, locating plate on which one end of each lead-in wire inserted in each lead-in wire hole of the mount head abuts, whereby the position of one end relative to the mount head is defined, and an air cylinder capable of engaging the lead-in wires inserted in the first pair of lead-in wires to move the lead-in wires axially toward the mount head.
