  • Patent number: 7624295
Abstract: To reduce power consumption of a processor system including a plurality of processors without degradation of the processing ability, a CPU detects mode setting information added to instruction code and outputs a clock control signal and a power supply voltage control signal to a clock controlling section and a power supply voltage controlling section, respectively. When a plurality of processing engines execute an instruction in parallel, clock signals with a frequency lower than a predetermined frequency and power supply voltages lower than a predetermined voltage are supplied. As a result, power consumption is reduced and the processing ability is maintained by the parallel execution.

  • Patent number: 7571342
Abstract: To reduce power consumption of a processor system including a plurality of processors without degradation of the processing ability, a flag detecting section detects an assignment control flag and a clock control flag added to instruction code. An instruction assignment controlling section outputs the instruction code to a CPU or an HWE based on the detection to have the instruction code executed. A clock controlling section supplies a clock signal having a frequency lower than the maximum clock frequency to one of the CPU and the HWE in which a waiting time arises when the CPU and the HWE operate at the maximum clock frequencies, thus reducing power consumption.

  • Patent number: 7462827
Abstract: By using an image signal acquired by picking up a sample to be inspected by a color video camera, penetrant inspection and magnetic-particle inspection which are non-destructive inspections are carried out so that deficiency candidates including a pseudo deficiency are automatically detected and are displayed on a screen. A real deficiency can be detected from the deficiency candidates displayed on the screen. As image data is stored in memory means, information of a deficiency can be repeatedly reproduced on the screen. In the penetrant inspection, the chromaticity at each position on an image is acquired, a deficiency candidate is extracted based on the chrominance, and the deficiency is distinguished from a pseudo deficiency based on the differential value of the chrominance.
